Seeking a full time summer internship and/or a part time job during the school semester
in the engineering/construction field with your company.
Skills Summary:
I have held many different job titles and worked in the construction field most of my life

many skills and traits, which include, but not limited to:
• Strong work ethic and honesty
• Keen attention to details
• Analytical and organized
• Surveying skills
• Quantity take off skills
• Structural design skills
Construction/Engineering Experience:
C.A. Rasmussen September, 2016 to February, 2016
• Project Engineer: Promoted to project engineer of which I helped manage the
construction of two construction sites (one public and one private). Duties and
responsibilities include: performing quantity takeoffs to order necessary materials,
claiming weekly quantities, monthly progress billing, paying subcontractors,
coordinating subcontractor activities concurrently, review employee timecards,
lane closures, change orders, purchase orders, approving invoices, dispute
resolution, submittals, weekly SWPPP (storm water pollution prevention plan)
inspections, creating monthly revised CPM schedules, working multiple jobs at
once, weekly meetings with the county and resident engineer, sending in survey
requests, and working thirty hours a week while taking seventeen units each
semester.
July, 2016 to September 2016

Keith M. Phillips Scaffolding March, 2013 to June 2016

and tear down the scaffold. It was my job to make sure that everything was up to
code and safe upon completion of each job. I would also collect payment from
various clients. Working in the scaffolding industry has allowed me to work on
hundreds of construction sites and see the various ways that structures are built
and how the job site is run.
June, 2010 to September 2011
• Scaffold Laborer: Before I was promoted to assistant supervisor, I was a laborer

catering to the needs of clients and their different learning styles regardless of age.
