The job description is for a technical lead to help develop Knowlus through a strong understanding of operating systems, distributed computing, and computer networks. Knowlarity uses a hosted intelligent massively parallel telephone call processing platform to – called
Knowlus – to help Indian enterprises with more than 1 Lac customers connect with their
customers using telephones.
Technical Lead:
Job description: Knowlus voice platform is a distributed voice processing system optimized for
inexpensive, fault tolerance, distributed voice data processing. The development of the system
requires keen and low level understanding of Unix internals, general purpose operating systems,
massively parallel computing systems and computer network principals..
As a systems hacker, you will be responsible for architecture, design, modification and development
on Knowlus platform. We care about minimal beautiful code and efficient design. You, with your
deep understanding of Systems will research and extend Knowlus cluster with additional
functionalities. Additionally, you may also be involved in research in intelligent voice technologies
such as TTS.

1) A distributed fault tolerant chat server with capacity to support 1 million simultaneous
conversations
2) Research and identify methods to develop successful Denial of Service attack on large
capacity server using a simple modem connection and a laptop. This would use changes in
the TCP three-way handshake
Professional experience: You have developed a deep and low level understanding of computer
operating systems and network by working in embedded devices industry, computer security
industry or in industries using customized operating systems. Alternatively, you may have
developed the same understanding of computer system by actively collaborating and contributing
towards Free and Open Source Community on the web. You rate your professional performance to
be at top 1% of professionals in your domain and enjoy working with the people of same
professional caliber.
