3. Holy Writings & Core Beliefs -The Torah is the old testament. Jewish people follow and respect the Torah. -Jewish People believe in only 1 god. This is one of their Core Beliefs. -Jewish people follow the 613 Commandments that are in the Torah.

6. Rites of Passage & Rituals -A bar or bat mitzvah is celebration when a girl turns 12 and a half and a boy turns 13. - When you attend a Jewish wedding the ceremony is under a Chuppah. - Shiva is a ceremony after someone who you are very close to dies.
