M. jamaluddin reports on their clinical experience in the orthopedic ward at Srinakarind Hospital. They observed the management of patients with orthopedic problems and discussed cases like lumbar fractures and metastatic cancer. The nursing student was divided into two teams to observe different patient cases, such as a total hip osteoplasthy or osteoarthritis with a total knee osteoplasthy. The student helped with nursing care like bathing patients and making beds. They communicated with nurses and patients, gaining experience in orthopedic ward management.

Clinical Experience Report
Today is a very exciting day to be in the hospital srinakarind I can see firsthand how the
management of the treatment of patients with orthopedic problems , the first day I went to Prof Dr
Pornthep Pearkao to Srinakarind Orthopaedic wards at the hospital . Previously we have discussed a lot
of things in the Faculty of Nursing in 1 hour . And then we went to the hospital on foot . At the hospital ,
we met Aj . Ladawan in the boardroom . He tells a lot about orthopedics to us , after that Aj . Tok asked
us to look around the neighborhood to know more orthopedic case and introduced us to all the staff
there . In the space of ten orthopedic cases , including 2 Lumbar Mestastatic CA ; Pravertebralabses
Lumbar 1-2 with pulmonary TB , hypertension + + Osteoarthritis Gout with total knee osteoplasthy ,
fractur , total knee osteoplasthy , CA Mestastatic , total hip osteoplasthy , Osteogenetic ; injury , etc.
Aj . Tok divided us into two teams . The first team consisted of Ms. Anik , Mr. May , and Mr. Adi .
The second team consisted of me and Mr. Budi . We opted for the patient made a report . First select
group osteoplasthy hips and my group choose Osteoarthritis Gout + + hypertension with the number
osteoplasthy knee .
In the orthopedic space , we found a lot of experience as a nursing team management goes well ,
CPM , schedule patient bathing , arrangement of the room . We also watch the video .
I ate lunch at 11:30 and again at 12:30 pm to pray . After that , me and Mr. Budi help to Pee Wiwin to
bathe the patient and make her bed . After that , me and Mr. Budi assessment Ms. Poon Sook and
accompanied Pee Wiwin and pee Suangkana for nursing care until 14:30 and back to the hostel .
For the summary ,
I had a very good experience to have communication with nurses and patients in the orthopedic
ward will not be forgotten .
