Jaws Maui High Performance Computing Center was created by the Department of Defense Air Force Research Laboratory and University of Hawaii to provide high-performance computing resources. It consists of 1,280 Dell blade servers each with 2 dual-core 3.0 GHz processors, 8GB RAM, and 72GB local storage connected via Cisco Infiniband, with a 200TB shared Lustre filesystem for storage.
