Marty finds a dog named Shiloh in West Virginia and tries to convince his father to let him keep it. They discover the dog may belong to their neighbor, who has a reputation for being unpleasant and mistreating animals. Marty and his sisters are worried about Shiloh's condition and behavior, which suggests it has not been treated well. Marty wants to train and care for Shiloh to make it a healthy dog.

4. The Important Events In My Story
•First there is this dog found in Shiloh and then that turns
his name into Shiloh and Marty tries to talk his dad into
letting him keep him.
•They find out that the dog might be there neighbors, he
isn’t very nice so he might get mad, and he had just gotten a
new dog and it ran away.
•Marty and his little sister’s were worried about
Shiloh, because he didn’t act like he got treated right. It
sounded like he was scared of everything in the world.
Marty didn’t want to give him back he wanted to keep him
and train him well to be a healthy dog.

5. My Summary
My story so far has been really good. Marty the son, finds this dog in
Shiloh that is very unhealthy and needs to be treated better. The boy lets
him follow home to see if they can keep him. Marty finds out that he isn’t
allowed. The father had said no because he thought that it was their
neighbors dog because he had gotten a new dog and he ran off. This is all
that I have read so far. 
