My top red flags
The senior leadership team all look the same
A lot of people have left recently
Companies who brag about the basics
A rushed hiring process
Companies who say “we’re like a family”
Vanity perks
Tips to secure the right job
Interview often to practice
Ask people who work there what it’s like
as well as people who have left
Define your must haves and nice to haves
and don’t be swayed
Respect your own boundaries
Trust your gut… especially on the 🚩🚩🚩
Hiring the right candidate
Finding the right person for the job is just
as important for companies as it is for
candidates
Hiring people who aren’t a good fit for the
company can lead to people leaving
It’s expensive.
From recruitment fees to training, salary and
potentially gardening leave
BE HONEST WITH CANDIDATES
It’s better to have someone who will commit
to the role knowing the weaknesses

You can do everything right and still end

You’re not a failure for changing roles
Whilst many companies really do treat
people well…
We are all rented brains that can be
replaced… your brain is the only one you’ll
ever have
You deserve more
It’s good to give a company a chance, but
not at the detriment to your mental health
Because if the company you work for
doesn’t treat you right….
