Letter

Recommendation
for
Jared
Michaud,
and
it
is
my
pleasure
to
do
so.
I
am
the
Program
Director
of
Camps
Kenwood
&
Evergreen,
a
children’s
residential
summer
camp
in
New
Hampshire.
Jared
has
been
a
staff
member
at
Kenwood
&
Evergreen
since
the
summer
of
2015.
Jared
is
an
exceptionally
caring
young
man.
He
is
both
creative
and
clear
thinking,
and
has
proven
capable
of
meeting
any
challenge
that
he
has
faced
within
our
camp
community.
In
addition
to
his
intelligence,
Jared
was
also
a
talented
cabin
counselor.
During
the
summer
of
2015
he
was
responsible
for
the
lives
of
8
9-­‐year
old
boys,
24-­‐hours
a
day,
for
50
days.
This
was
a
highly
demanding
job,
requiring
intense
focus,
attention
to
detail,
and
superb
people
skills.
In
this
capacity,
Jared
was
the
camper’s
coach,
mentor
and
surrogate
parent,
teaching
them
sports,
life-­‐skills,
independence,
and
communication
skills.
He
also
made
sure
that
the
campers
ate
properly,
showered,
changed
their
clothing,
and
made
sure
that
they
brushed
their
teeth
before
putting
them
to
bed
at
night.
Jared
also
showed
himself
to
be
an
effective
organizer
and
manager,
coaching
and
leading
our
children
against
other
camps
throughout
the
state
of
New
Hampshire.
Jared’s
work
displays
such
an
intuitive
understanding
of
children's
developmental
and
behavioral
issues.
He
was
an
exceptional
counselor
to
his
campers,
viewing
each
of
them
as
an
individual
with
unique
needs
and
goals.
He
was
very
popular
with
our
children
and
staff,
due
largely
to
his
sense
of
humor,
enthusiasm,
and
creativity.
His
professionalism
was
always
exemplary,
and
he
never
hesitated
to
share
the
benefit
of
his
experience
with
others,
or
to
ask
for
help
when
it
was
needed.
