The document summarizes the expansion of suffrage and voting rights in the United States over time. It discusses how voting was initially only granted to white male property owners but has expanded to include all races, both sexes above age 18. The document also outlines the various stages of this expansion, from eliminating property and religious requirements, to amendments granting rights to Black men, women, those over 18, and residents of Washington D.C. Finally, it discusses ongoing debates around voter registration requirements and voter identification laws.
The document is a resume for Jami Ornellas, who has over 25 years of experience as a bartender and server. She is looking for full-time work in the arts and service industries, having recently left her job as a tutor. Her resume highlights her experience at various establishments across California and New Jersey from 1997 to the present, demonstrating her skills in point-of-sale systems and her passion for connecting with patrons.
The document provides examples of solving integer addition and subtraction problems by following steps:
1) Write the numbers on the positive or negative side based on their signs
2) The side with the greater total takes the sign of the answer
3) Calculate the sum or difference and write the answer with the appropriate sign
It works through problems such as 3-5=-2, 11+6=17, -7-5=-12, and -12+5=-7 to demonstrate how to determine the sign of the answer based on which side has the greater total.
The Watergate scandal of the 1970s involved the burglary of the Democratic National Committee headquarters in the Watergate apartment complex in Washington D.C. by Republican operatives connected to President Richard Nixon's re-election campaign. Multiple investigations revealed that senior White House officials, including Nixon, were involved in attempting to cover-up the burglary and other abuses of power. Facing impeachment and criminal prosecution, Nixon resigned as president on August 9, 1974, becoming the only U.S. president to resign from office. His successor Gerald Ford later pardoned Nixon for any federal crimes he may have committed.
Amanda Camille Green has over 7 years of experience in marketing, customer service, and business administration.

This document provides guidelines for fleet safety and safer car purchasing policies. It recommends that wherever possible, fleets should choose vehicles rated 5 stars by safety assessment programs, and never less than 4 stars, as higher ratings are associated with significantly lower risks of serious injury. It also lists mandatory safety requirements like electronic stability control and seat belts that any vehicle purchased should meet. Adopting such policies can help reduce the likelihood of crashes and injuries, fulfill corporate social responsibility and support global road safety goals. As fleet vehicles can remain in service for 20 years, only purchasing safe vehicles can make a big difference for road safety.
C-NCAP has evaluated over 300 vehicle types in the past 10 years. The 2018 version of C-NCAP introduces adjustments to test protocols and evaluation methods, including changes to the chest index evaluation, whiplash test speed, and rating system. It also adds new tests for pedestrian protection and autonomous emergency braking (AEB) systems. Scoring requirements will become more stringent over time, with the minimum score needed for a 5-star rating increasing from 75% in 2018 to 85% by 2020.
>DESCRIPTION:
Google Self-driving Cars are developed by Google [X] as part of its project to develop technology for mainly electric cars.
A Self-driving car (driver-less car, unmanned car, autonomous car, robotic car) is a vehicle that is capable of sensing its environment and navigating without human supervision or input. These modern cars are incorporated with finest features which allow them to operate autonomously.
Autonomous and unmanned technology is emerging gradually but continually, with new opportunities for its employment likely to follow in almost every industry which are involve in vehicle manufacturing like Ford, BMW, Audi etc.
Despite of the fact that this technology is emerging but autonomous and unmanned vehicles involve a transfer of control from direct human input to automated or self-control. This has implications for the determination of liability in the event of an incident, and will be a key factor in the pricing and risk transfer.
>MISSION:
According to Jennifer Haroon (Head of Business Operations - Google[X]):
“Our mission is to improve people’s life by transforming ability, and when we talk about transforming ability, one of the main part of that is “Safety”
>HISTORY:
The vision behind the Google Autonomous Cars was began as early as the 1939 New York World’s Fair where visitors were presented a vision of automated cars.
Another concept behind the “Google Driver-less Car” is the advertise from 1950’s showing a family on route trip.
>BEGINNING:
Numerous major companies and research organizations have developed working prototype autonomous vehicles, including Mercedes-Benz, General Motors, Continental Automotive Systems, IAV, Autoliv Inc., Bosch, Nissan, Renault, Toyota, Audi, Volvo, Tesla Motors, Peugeot, AKKA Technologies, Vislab from University of Parma, Oxford University and Google.
The reason behind the popularity of “Google Autonomous Vehicle” is because in May 2014, Google presented a new concept for their driver-less car that had neither a steering wheel nor pedals, and unveiled a fully functioning prototype in December of that year that they planned to test on San Francisco Bay Area roads beginning in 2015.
>TECHNOLOGY:
Google's robotic cars have about $150,000 in equipment. The software installed in Google's cars is named Google Chauffeur as well as including Lasers, Cameras, Radars, and Computing System that makes it into a “Self Driving Vehicle”
>SURVEY:
Expert members of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) have determined that driver-less vehicles will be the most viable form of intelligent transportation. They estimate that up to 75% of all vehicles will be autonomous by 2040.
Debate is a formal argumentative contest between individuals or teams that aims to persuade others of a position. It teaches skills like critical thinking, teamwork, research, and the ability to think on one's feet. A debate involves presenting structured arguments and rebuttals on a given topic. To run an effective debate, the organizer should clarify participants and structure, maintain a respectful environment, and ensure all sides have a chance to present their views before reaching a conclusion. Debate skills are also valuable for business, teaching how to communicate positions, make tough decisions under pressure, and understand different perspectives.

Je n’en suis pas si sûre. Il pourrait y a avoir des surprises. Des entreprises plus agiles que d’autres, pourraient comprendre qu’elles ont d’autres atouts : leurs salariés. The document discusses the SOLID principles of object-oriented design:
- Single Responsibility Principle (SRP): A class should have one, and only one, reason to change. Symptoms include a class with multiple responsibilities or dependencies.
- Open Closed Principle (OCP): A class should be open for extension but closed for modification. New functionality should not require changing existing code.
- Liskov Substitution Principle (LSP): Derived classes must be substitutable for their base classes.
- Interface Segregation Principle (ISP): Interfaces should be specific to the client and not contain methods that the client doesn't use.
