LITERATURA PARA NIÑOS: IMPLICACIONES EN LA EDUCACIÓNJenny HB
El objetivo principal de este artículo es exponer la incidencia de la literatura para niños en la educación infantil desde sus inicios hasta la contemporaneidad, contextualizando las implicaciones que actualmente se generan en la escuela desde la temprana edad. Cabe señalar que es relevante abordar la importancia que posee el desarrollo de la imaginación y la creatividad en los niños de todas las culturas, principalmente en el contexto colombiano, para esto se esbozan algunos aspectos significativos planteados por Dilia Teresa Escalante y Reina Violeta Caldera en su artículo “Literatura Infantil: una forma natural de aprender a leer”: a) importancia de la literatura para niños, b) historia de la literatura infantil, c) funciones de la literatura infantil y d) Rol de los maestros en la educación y en la literatura para niños. El análisis se basa en el enfoque investigativo constructivista de Jean Piaget, teniendo en cuenta que éste permite desarrollar la temática en función de la relevancia que posee la literatura para niños en el desarrollo del individuo desde temprana edad, en todos los aspectos del desarrollo. El análisis concluye con un esbozo sobre la importancia de planear estrategias educativas que permitan a los docentes acercar los niños al conocimiento a través de la literatura infantil, además que los infantes encuentren el verdadero deleite y goce estético que poseen los textos, para así ser partícipes activos en su proceso de aprendizaje.
