Relief Position
I rejoined this vessel to stand in for permanent Captain while he was away on study leave.
Carried out trips with members of Ruling family of Abu Dhabi. Delivered Yacht to Shipyard for minor
cosmetic projects and electronic upgrades, in preparation for F1 Grand Prix.
March/ Apr 2015 M/Y Sapphire 50m Trinity
Relief position. I joined this vessel in Tailand and voyaged to Maldives for Charters. At the end of
Charters I delivered the vessel to Singapore.
Jan 2010 to July M/Y Platinum 50m Benetti Captain
2014 This vessel is a very busy and respected Charter vessel trading mostly in the Mediterranean.
The vessel was used extensively for Corporate entertaining by the Owner and it also conducted
charters in the Indian Ocean and the Middle East.
I oversaw 11 crew members, managed the accounts and all administrative functions. I dealt with
contractors and suppliers and was heavily involved in all departments on a daily basis.
We participated in Yacht Shows and I recently supervised and administered a full 5 year periodical
Survey and refit.
Apr 2009 to M/Y Desamis B 40m Benetti Captain
Jan 2010 I joined this Private/Charter vessel while in the shipyard in Palma, Mallorca and tasked with the
projects of bringing the vessel to a condition ready to be sold. I was involved at every level of
engineering and I supervised all contractors to ensure that high standards were maintained. I was
actively training crew to higher performance levels to meet the professional standards I require.

Sept 2008 Assigned to this vessel while in Shipyard and followed extensive repair projects.
Interviewed and employed entire crew. (10) Completed Charters with owners in
Bahamas and Florida. Prepared vessel for Yacht Shows.
May 2007 Artmarine LLC Dubai Captain and Project Manager Benetti 30m
to June 2008 My first assignment was to follow the new build of a Benetti Tradition in Fano,
Italy. After completion of build, commissioned and delivered vessel and trained
new Captain, Engineer and crew for the new Owner.
Second project was to follow the build of Benetti Legend 85 ft.
Mar 2005 M/Y Dear Henri 35m Captain
to June 2006 Joined this private vessel and completed the winter refit in Rome, Italy.
Summer season spent cruising in the Med. Delivered the boat to Beirut for the
Winter. Boat extensively used for Corporate functions for high profile guests.

Carried out relief duties while Captain was on vacation. Boat for private use
for member of ruling family of Dubai.
S/V Blue Gold 50m Captain and Project Manager
I joined this vessel in Dubai and set about to effect extensive repair to damages the vessel received
In a typhoon off Sri Lanka.
M/Y Princess 20m Consulting Captain
Located in Bahrain. Engaged as Consulting Captain by the Ruling Family, to train a
Captain and crew for their new yacht.
Sept 2002 to M/Y Sanjeeda. 100ft Captain and Marine Consultant.
Jan 2003 Oversaw major refit and modification project for newly-built tradional Dhow.
All work was carried out on west coast of India. On completion, I delivered the boat to Maldives.

I joined these vessels for the second time at the request of the Owners.
These high profile vessels were for the private use of the members of ruling family in Abu Dhabi
and their distinguished guests. The vessels and crew maintained a state of alert at all times.
Position required a high regard for privacy, confidentiality and appropriate behaviour from all
crew members when the Owners where aboard. As is appropriate, all vessels were required to be
managed and operated to the very highest standards possible. Vessel accommodated 30 guests
and operated with a crew of up to 36 when guests were on board
Dec. 11, 2000 M/V Midnight Saga LOA 57m 678 grt. Chief Officer and Relief Captain
to May 2001 Duties included managing 19 crew, assignment of their duties and overseeing all the activities of
all works carried out on board. Navigating and passage planning and administrative duties.
1991 to 2000 Sailing Vessels from 15m to 30m
This part of my career was dedicated solely to Sailing vessels. I was in command of Yachts of
various sizes involved in Chartering and some for private use. I took part in a two year
racing program on a high-performance yacht and enjoyed many trophy-winning successes.
Sept 1987 Off-shore Oil and Gas Exploration ( North Sea )
to Sept 1991 I worked for various contractors involved in drilling in the North Sea. Our tasks covered all
aspects of exploration drilling, cementing, well-capping, core sampling, and rig moves.
