 The capitol of Italy is Rome.

 The population is about 58,100,000.

 The official language is called Italian.
Geography of Italy
 The general weather in Italy is mostly showery.

 In the winter it is mostly hot and dry.

 In the alps of Italy it can be rainy in the summer.

 In the winter in the alps it can be cold.
People of Italy
 The most famous sport in Italy is soccer.

 For jobs Italy’s people do something called being
  an economic immigrant.

 Marriage is more popular in Italy than in any
  other place in Europe.

 In Italy about five million people live abroad
What People Eat
 In the morning the people of Italy eat cassata.

 For lunch in Italy they eat pizza/soup.

 For dinner they eat pizza.

 They also drink a lot of coffee.
Interesting Facts
 The currency of Italy is called the Euro.

 A law is that students need to stay in school till 16
  but half of them still drop out.

 The national day of Italy is called the anniversary
  of the republic.
