First up In this webinar we will cover how a Cloud IaaS with OpenStack can help developers learn, use and implement cloud instances in their projects.
Secondly we will cover the tools deployed on our OpenStack infrastructure that push developers to collaborate and get used to a workflow as near as possible to what they will find in other companies without leaving the LABSOL community.
Last, we will give a look at our Apache Hadoop cluster, managed with Apache Ambari and how it’s set of tools for data analysis allows our collaborators to start working on data science applications.

Koha is an open-source integrated library system that was first developed in New Zealand in 1999-2000 and is now a worldwide collaboration project. It is a free and customizable option for libraries that provides a fully web-based system for cataloging, circulation, serials control, acquisitions and more. Koha allows libraries to perform traditional operations at low cost while customizing the system to fit local needs without vendor lock-in.

The OSGeo UK Local Chapter provides support for local open source geospatial software users and developers to further the mission and goals of OSGeo in the UK. It runs a mailing list and monthly IRC meetings for advice and information about training courses and events. Getting involved allows one to access advice on open source GIS, learn about geospatial events and courses, and network with others interested in open source geospatial software.
Ananthula Srikar gave a presentation about Mozilla at SNIST Hyderabad on January 18th, 2014. Mozilla is a global non-profit community dedicated to opening and innovating the internet. It is best known for creating the Firefox web browser, which currently has over a quarter of the global browser market share. Mozilla also develops other open source software and promotes the open web through initiatives like WebFWD, which supports individuals with ideas to advance web standards. Srikar encouraged attendees to get involved and contribute to Mozilla's mission in any way they can, such as coding, testing, or local community building.
