2. I have never been to Ireland before and the campus of UCD is huge, so when I just arrived, I was really
surprised that no one took me to the house I stayed in. They just gave me a map and told me to go. I got a bit
upset as it was hard to find my house.
Then when I finally got to my room, I couldn’t believe that it was so small. When I walked into the kitchen,
I was astonished that there was no oven and no proper table for eating.
3. I R I S H F O O D
I wasn’t really happy with the food in Ireland. I
didn’t like Irish food in a restaurant we went to, as
I can’t stand potatoes or lamb. Beef from the
supermarkets tastes bad as well. As a Russian
person I love drinking milk with honey. But the
honey here doesn’t even mix with milk, which
means that it is really bad quality and
unfortunately it doesn’t even taste like honey at
all. The milk from Tesco is fine, however the milk
from Centra tastes like chemicals.
4. There is an ice cream served in UCD
Sports Centre. I was really surprised that
the ice cream there is made out of heavy
cream. As in my country all ice cream is
made using milk, the ice cream made from
any type of cream is considered to be
really cheap and bad.
5. ACTIVITIES
Dublin turned out to be quite
boring. However, we still found
something to do. We started being
creative.
6. Then I started going outside to
take photos every evening.
7. Concerning ISC itself, when I went there for the first time. I found out that
all teachers are really friendly and just good people.
