God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, so that all who believe in Him will not perish but have eternal life. The passage expresses God's love for humanity and His provision of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ to avoid spiritual death and gain everlasting life.
In this lesson we start by debunking several prevalent lies about prayer that hinder us from praying as we should. We then move on to study the prayer life of Elijah. Amazingly, even though we learn that he was a man just like us, and thus subject to misplaced passions and a sinful nature, his prayer life was powerful and effective. (James 5:17-18; 1 Kings 19:1-8)

Many of us have secrets involving things that we have done, often things we are very ashamed of. Confession is the first step to dealing with these secrets.

Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah.
Covenants are important features of the Bible’s teaching. Seven specific covenants are revealed in the scripture. These seven covenants fall into three categories- conditional, unconditional, and general.
->Conditional covenants are based on certain obligations and prerequisites.
->Unconditional covenants are made with no strings attached and will be kept regardless of one party’s fidelity or infidelity.
General covenants are not specific to one people/Group and can involve a wide range of people.

Psalm 13: Where is God? How long until Jehovah acts? Jehovah’s promises to Abraham remind us that He has a plan and will keep His promises; but on His timetable. We can learn at least five lessons: 1) He’s doing what’s best for me; 2) He’s preparing me; 3) Keep seeking Him; 4) Keep trusting Him; and, 5) Be steadfast and love Him.
