  17th there are many celebrations.
• The placing of a lighted candle in the window
  of a house on Christmas eve is still a tradition
  in Ireland today.
• On Easter Sunday, people would dance on the
  streets, people went barefoot on Good Friday
  and herring processions were held on Easter
  Saturday.
