- 2. Invertebrates are animals without backbones.
- 3. They are cold-blooded and warm their body by
absorbing heat from their surroundings.
- 4. Invertebrates are eukaryotic because they contain
complex structures enclosed within membranes.
- 5. Invertebrates are multicellular, which means that they
are organisms that contain more than one cell.
- 6. Invertebrates don’t have cells walls because they are all
animals and animals can not have cell walls.
- 7. Invertebrates can’t make their own food, thus they are
heterotrophic. They feed off other things to get their
energy.
