The document describes Challenge Factory, a summer trainee program for students to work on research projects at JAMK University of Applied Sciences. As part of Challenge Factory, students are organized into self-managed teams and mentored by research teams as they work on problems and develop prototypes. In 2016, 19 students were accepted out of 30 interviewed to develop projects including an IoT reference system, software defined networking reference, and a training game for HYVI. The goal is to provide real-world engineering experience for students while advancing applied research projects.

2. What is Challenge Factory ?
Challenge Factory is a concept for working as a summer
trainee for the N4S Project in JAMK University of Applied
Sciences. As a Challenge Factory member you get to work
with N4S@JAMK and Cyber Trust team.
Research team members acts as mentors within Challenge
Factory and gives several challenges to seize with modern
working methods. LEAN Startup Methodolody, MVP, QA,
Test Automation, CI and CD, Service Design, UX...

● Resourcing according the request, but multi skilled team is mandatory
● CF 2016 has members are selected from cyber, network, media and software engineering students
