This course examines how to integrate ISTE technology standards into classroom lessons on content standards from California. Students will learn the ISTE standards, what technologies are available, and how to incorporate them into lesson plans. Over three weeks, students will be introduced to ISTE standards and internet safety, learn about Web 2.0 tools, and create a final lesson plan integrating technology along with presenting on a classroom blog or Prezi.

understand ISTE standards, available technology

lessons; Students will develop a unit lesson
integrating technology using content standard
lessons.

Introduction to ISTE (International Society for
Technology in Education).
Internet Safety.
Begin developing Lesson integrating technology

7. Week 2
Introduction to Web 2.0.
Presentation of Prezi/ PowerPoint based on
classroom lesson.
Development of standards and objectives for unit
plan utilizing technology.

8. Week 3
Wiki collage of Web 2.0.
Presentation of classroom blog.
Finalization of lesson plan utilizing technology.
