What is the Elevate America Program?

   Technology training and certification packages
     Offered   by Microsoft and local workforce areas to U.S.
      military Veterans and their eligible spouses
   No-cost voucher
     Training   to help Veterans and their eligible spouses
      build their skills in selected Microsoft technologies
     Industry recognized certification exam that can be used
      by Veterans and their eligible spouses to demonstrate
      their skills to employers

Who Are The Vouchers For?
Available to all eligible U.S. Military Veterans and
their covered spouses
   Eligible Veterans
    An eligible Veteran is an individual who served in the active military, naval, or
    air service, and who was discharged or released from such service under
    conditions other than dishonorable.

   Eligible Covered Spouses
    The Covered Spouse eligibility includes the spouse of any veteran who died of
    a service-connected disability; a member serving on active military duty who is
    listed as missing in action, captured in the line of duty by a hostile force, or
    forcibly detained or interned in the line of duty by a foreign government or
    power; or a veteran with a total service-connected disability rating or one who
    died being evaluated for it.

    *Eligibility of veterans and covered spouses is determined and certified at a
    Career Center.
How Are Vouchers Distributed?
   Veterans who want a voucher must visit one of six
    local Career Centers in San Diego County:

Receiving A Voucher
   One Stops will provide participants with an
    appropriate voucher based on their interest and
    training need.
   Participants can receive one voucher for training
    (e-learning) and one voucher for designated
    certification.
   If more vouchers are desired, successful completion
    must be demonstrated.
