GRAPHOLOGY NOTES

Dignity
• Retraced or nearly retraced d and t stems.
• There should be no loop.
• They strive to attain honour, respect and confidence of others through
proper conduct, speech, behaviour and dressing accordingly.
• Very strong dignity seen in deep retracing of d and t stems is a drawback
socially.
Pride
• Tall d and t stems that measure from 2-2.5 times the height of lower case
letters whether looped or retraced.
• In social arena, pride makes good relations with others because it
engenders a sprint of wanting to fit in.
Self confidences
• Primary found in capital letters that are more
than 2.5 times the hight of the middle zone
letter.
• Being sure of yourself and your talent is a social
asset.
Social control
• The t bar is bent a dome like bow (Convex) signifies self control.
• The writer is using his will power to create a change in himself.
• A degree of control over one’s action and expressions is a valuable tool in
maintaining peace.
• The trait implies self discipline ,which is perceived as strength and it is
greatly admired.
Self-reliance
• An underlined signature, especially when it is made with no
pretentiousness or undue ornate flourishes
• Person stands on their own feet and assumes responsibility for their
decisions, actions and attitudes.
• This trait also gives the perception to others that he is competent like the
trait of “self confidence”.
Sensuousness
• Heavy depth of the writing line and clean writing without any blobs and
inked in letters indicates sensuousness.
• They seek experiences that awaken their feelings so they truly tune into
sights, smells, sounds, colour and richness.
• Such high sensory awareness dan make a person very perceptive of the
body language of other people.
Diplomacy • Legible letter or letters which taper in size as
they proceed indicate diplomacy .
• Seen in the letters m and n where the last two
strokes are progressively lower than the first.
• Diplomacy is the ability to deal skilfully with
people in difficult situations.
Frankness
• Circle letters “a” and “o” that are clear of all hooks and loops inside them
denote a person who is frank and honest.
• The circle letters can be open (talkative) or closed (reticent).
Generosity
• Long finals on letters, the width being at least of the previous letter and
that sweep upward in a gentle curve as for as the top of the middle zone.
• They have a natural ability to observe the needs of others and are quick to
respond.
Loyalty • Indicated by round i and j dots and periods.
• The lighter the dot, the stronger the loyalty.
• Loyalty is a stabilizing factor and influences
various aspects of one’s personality.
Physical mindedness • Indicated by the presence of a lower loop in the
small letter p.
• The size of the loop shows the degree of the
trait.
• The trait indicates the mental desire for physical
activity.
Clannishness
• Tight restricted loops at the bottom of the letters g,j,p,y and z in the lower
zone,
• The smaller the loop , fewer person is the writer includes in his life.
• This is an isolating trait that cuts down on the number of people the writer
admits into his inner circle.
Deceptiveness
• The writer’s desire to deliberately deceive or mislead others is shown by the
formation of double loops.
• They miss out in the end because they lose the trust of others who come to
recognize a pattern of “saving face” or attempts to mislead for personal
gain.
• The deceptive person has a hard time sustaining lasting relationships.
Domineering
• Primarily this trait appears in down turned t bars that end with a week,
wispy stroke.
• The direction of the stroke downward coupled with the weakness combine
to form the trait.
• This tiresome trait pushes people away because nobody likes to be ordered
around or treated with disrespect.
Exaggeration
• Huge lower loops in the lower zone,
• When imagination is extreme the expansiveness is not realistic and the
manifestation is perceived as a form of deceit.
• Exaggeration is hard for listeners to beat for long.
Extravagance
• Very long endings plus wide spacing within words.
• Intensified by traits like impulsiveness and yieldingness.
• Shows a compulsive over giving nature there is obviously something
abnormal about the action, which amounts to false giving.
• The excessive giver craves recognition as compensation, which is not an
altruistic reason to give.
Idiosyncrasy
• Evaluated by some quirky strokes repeatedly made to make the writing
stand out.
• Usually seen in circle i dots or j dots, especially when it shows in the writing
of an adult.
• They want to appear different, they see themselves that way and want to
be recognised as unique.
Impatience
• Jabbed i and j dots to the right of the stem indicate impatience.
• More pronounced with a forward slant in the writing.
• This is never an advantageous trait in social circle.
Ostentation
• Large showy hand wiring with flourishes and many excessive attention
getting strokes.

• They express the need of attention and likely to be excessive talking,
