3. Introduction
o Indibni is a Jaipur-based start-up in the gifting space which embraces themes and ideas pertaining to Indian culture.
o Indibni design studio is a startup company which was created by Mr. Nitin Jain in the year 2013
o They design personalized and relational gift items as people are always looking for innovative gifting solutions to celebrate festivals and
occasions, or just to remember and cherish their loved ones.
o Indibni works through different e-commerce platform like amazon, flipkart, paytm and through shopify store
o They are in the business Of selling fun. They work with the designers and create products that has humour to it and hence are
refreshing.
o The artworks, characters are overloaded with humor and fun with day today Indian life, culture, tradition, relation etc.

5. Sourcing of Material
o Sourcing of the primary material for the products are fulfilled by local vendors and vendors nearby Jaipur like
from Delhi or Gujrat.
o Other material are sourced from outside or from online sites like Indiamart.com or Alibaba.com.
o Material for packaging like corrugated boxes and printed polyethene, printed tape etc. fulfilled by vendors of
Jaipur.
o Machineries and primary material for printing is generally taken from Delhi like silicon pad, mould for coffee
mug etc.
o Product also collected from from different Ngo groups `across Jaipur and other states. E.g. Seed Rakhi.

7. Design Making
o Before the arrival of a particular season or festival or occasion the design team start brainstorming to come up with
some unique product and artwork ideas.
o So first to identify the festival or occasion according to that the artwork start evolving. Like If it is rakhi then its
about the bonding and love between a brother and a sister
o So according to that artworks start evolving. Then further theme is taken and then the design is fused with the theme.
Sometimes two or more theme taken to create a different fusion . Theme taken based on Indian culture and
tradition like truck art, kite festival etc. .
o Two consumer types primary user and end user so keep it in mind they have to design according to both.
o In product sector inspiration are taken from the old traditional objects and modify them in a unique way with new
type of material.

8. Sampling Department
o Sampling is the product development stage. This department make samples according to the requirements
and specifications given by the design team. Considered as the main department of the company.
o Sampling department work for sourcing of the primary materials for the new product and establish a good
vendor relationship for further needed materials.
o The first time manufacturing of a new product and artwork is done here. They follow the same process as
followed by the production department but the difference is that they only make it as a sample piece for
checking of the material or artwork, usability of the product etc.
o If the product is ready to use then they are given to the production unit or if any fault they are further
checked out and again the correct sample is made.

9. Materials:
o Most of the indibni products are made by eco-friendly materials.
o Different types of mdf, sublimation mdf and pine mdf, Acrylic sheets, Ceramic mugs, Glass Mugs, linen Cushion Covers,
Mouse pad rubber, Silicon rubber sheet, Fridge magnet sheets, Thermosetting Plastic for badges, Cotton t-shirts, Linen
dinning mats, Handmade paper, Water proof card, Non-tearable papers, sublimation paper, Heat transfer paper etc.
Vendor Based Manufacturing
o Products are mainly manufactured by leaser cutting, Die cutting & Plotter cutting.
o First of all the final design with proper measurement is created in CorelDraw in PLT format for laser and plotter
cutting.
o AT first print is done on the surface of the material or artwork printed vinyl sheet is pasted on the material and then
laser and plotter cut is done according to the designs,. E.g. keychains, Coasters etc.
o In some cases the material is cut as per the designs and then printed and assembled. E.g. Trays In badges or metal
based designs first the product is made by die cut and after that print is done on the surface or gumming waterproof
paper print stick in the surface.

10. Printing Unit
o Printing departments works with the printing of actual sized artworks in different type of papers according to
the requirements.
o Printing is done on gumming sheets, sublimation sheets, heat transfer paper and inkjet printing paper.
o To reduce the cost a full sheet of banner seized is printed at one time with different artworks.
o The artworks to be printed on the paper are in reverse as to be printed on the material.
Cutting & Pasting Dept.
o After printing the artworks are sent for cutting and pasting on the surface of the material to which it will be
printed.
o And for if pasting is not needed then they are sized as per the product and sent to the manufacturing
department.

11. Print on the Product (Heat Press Printing)
o A heat press is a machine engineered to imprint a design or graphic on a substrate, such as a t-shirt, with the
application of heat and pressure for a preset period of time. While heat presses are often used to apply
designs to fabrics, specially designed presses can also be used to imprint designs on mugs, plates, jigsaw puzzles,
caps, and other products.
o Most heat presses currently on the market use an aluminium upper-heating element with a heat rod cast into
the aluminium or a heating wire attached to the element.
o The pattern is printed in sublimating ink on sublimating paper which allows the pattern to transfer. You can get
some highly effective patterns and great effects using this technique.

12. Printing on ceramic & glass
o Ceramic and glass mugs are placed in a particular silicon rubber mould and place in heat transfer machine.
o This type of machinery contains a heating wire attached to the element. Temperature kept in between 150˚-
190˚C for printing on ceramic and glass for 3 minutes.
o To give a burning effect the mug is kept between 190˚-200˚C.
o The silicon rubber and the silicon pad help to absorbs and circulate heat to the surface.
o A sublimation tape is used to past the printed paper with the material which can survive high temperature.

o Print is done directly on the rubber or neodymium sheets then cut into pieces by laser cutting.

o Direct Screen print on the card sheet or digital printing on the handmade sheets etc.

13. Manufacturing Unit
Printing on Linen, polycanvus and cotton
o Cushion cover and t-shirt are printed in a flat bed heat press printing machine with a temperature of
120˚-150˚C for 20 to 30 sec for a light colored artwork and for dark colored artwork its kept for
50sec..
o It has a aluminum plate for heat transfer and lower bed with silicon pad for heat absorption.
o The artwork printed on sublimation paper is then placed on the surface to be printed.
o According to the size of the product the machine bed also varies.

o Artwork printed in a gumming sheet or vinyl sheet and then pasted on the surface of the material.

18. Costing
Costing is also a part of sampling department, here the whole costing of a product is done. After the completion of the sample
the company used to make their costing sheet of that product.
The costing sheet is made according to the raw material used and its components, Assembling Parts, Paper and Printing. This
combines primary costing.
Production Cost: Labor Cost + Other Charges
Packaging Cost : Cost on the packaging polythene, boxes, tags, direction to use, tag, corrugated boxes, Cello tape with brand name
printed, Thermocol, etc. It should be maximum RS 30.
Overhead Cost : Overhead expenses are all costs on the income statement except for direct labour, direct materials, and direct
expenses. Overhead expenses include accounting fees, advertising, insurance, interest, legal fees, labour burden, rent, repairs, supplies,
taxes, telephone bills, travel expenditures, and utilities.
Amazon FBA charges : Warehouse charges + Fulfillment Charges + Courier Charges
Fulfillment Charges: Includes picking and packing your orders, shipping and handling, customer service, and product returns
FBA : Fulfilled by Amazon

Problem:
To stop cluttering of earphone in everyday life. We all love music and listening to our favorite music during work or free time

Favorite pastime for all of us. But what happened when we see a cluttered earphone inside our bag or from pocket.
Ewwwww…………. It’s irritating.
Solution:
A earphone organizer which can keep our earphones away from cluttering. After using the earphone we just have to wrap it
and place it anywhere. It is also equipped with a hook so that to hang in your bags or pant for easy use.

26. Bookmark:
Problem:
In todays life people used to read digitally and manually both. Digital reading has software bookmarks. To design a unique
bookmark so that it could enhance reading.
Solution:
In a normal bookmarks we can only able to mark our last pages we read but in this bookmark you can able to mark last
page, last line, last paragraph or a last word also. Very unique design with a good artwork which can easily communicate with
the user.

37. Why have I joined the company
Indibni is a product as well as a graphic design industry where they print the artworks
according to the Indian culture, tradition, Humor etc.
In todays market, print in products are a upcoming trend. People can easily grab them as
simple prints can easily swing the mood of the consumer and can communicate with them.
Also in todays busy world every person want to get happy so these type of fun products
can easily do that. They are overloaded with humor and fun. It is easy, affordable and
through this one can
Target a mass market. Prints do communicate with the consumer psychology. So I have
chosen this industry to learn and explore this upcoming trend. In future I can also
incorporate
Them in my products. Because we have seen industries like chumbak, ek do dhai, happily
unmarried, Indibni are growing faster by incorporating prints and graphics with their product.
So I have explored the company.
