What is Cyberbullying?
Cyberbullying is bullying that involves technology. It usually is in the form of
text messages, email, or social media. Bullying can include mean words,
pictures, or threatening messages.
Examples of Cyberbullying
Sending messages or posts that put people down
Spreading rumors
Posting mean videos or pictures about people
Leaving people out
Effects of Cyberbullying
Feeling sad or alone
Feeling angry
Lowers your self esteem
Feeling unsafe
How to be an Upstander?
Stand up for our friends
Ask these questions before you post
Is this true?
How would this make them feel?
Does this post lift this person up?
Report to teachers or parents when you see yourself or others being cyberbullied.
