There are 6 levels of IOT described in the document. Level 1 involves a single node that performs sensing, data storage, analysis and application hosting. Level 2 adds cloud data storage and applications. Level 3 involves big data and computationally intensive analysis. Level 4 uses multiple nodes for local analysis. Level 5 includes a coordinator node that collects data from end nodes and sends it to the cloud. Level 6 has multiple sensing and actuating nodes that send data to the cloud for analytics, storage in a database, and visualization through cloud applications, with a centralized controller monitoring the end nodes.

2. IOT has the 6th level
Level -1
 It has a single node/ device that can perform sensing, store data , perform
analysis and hosts the applications.
 Suitable for the modeling low level cost and low complex city solutions, Where
the data involved is not big and the analysis requirements are not
computationally sensitive.
 It is a basic level , and where the involved data is not big and environment is not
complex

3. Level -2
 It has also a single node that perform sensing and actuating and local analysis
 The data is stored in the cloud and the applications are usually cloud based
 Level 2 IOT is suitable where the data involved is big and not computationally
intensive
 Example irrigation

4. Level -3
 It also has a single node stored in cloud
 Data involved is big
 Analysis requirements are computationally intensive here complex city is
increased

5. Level -4
 Multiple nodes perform local analysis
 It contains local and cloud based observers nodes which can subscribe and
receive the information collected in the cloud from IOT device

6. Level -5
 Multiple nodes and one coordinator node , coordinator node collects data form
the end nodes and sends it to cloud.
 Data level 5 system are suitable for solutions between wireless sensors network
 Example . Forest fire Detection.. Sensors measures the temperature smog and
weather

7. Level -6
 Multiple nodes that perform sensing and actuation and send data
to the cloud.
 The analytics component analyzer the data and stores the results in
the cloud database.
 The results are visualized with the cloud based applications.
 The centralized controller is aware the status of all the end nodes
and sends control commands to the nodes .
