The International Space Station is a space station launched between 1998-2011 with a mass of 303,663 kg and living volume of 358 m3. It orbits at an average altitude of 353 km with an orbital period of around 91 minutes and average speed of 27,743.8 km/h. Scientific research on the station includes tests in microgravity, medical technology, and technology spinoffs.
