–Something that concerns, involves,
draws the attention of, or arouses the
curiosity of a person
• The materials/activities and techniques
selected should take in account of the pupils
interest.
• It helps to:
– Bring learning to life- storytelling
– Help young learners discover the world around
them and expand their vocabulary through a
variety of topics
– Provide motivating learning content- fairy tales
– Attract pupils attention- coloured pictures of
simple objects
