4. Use facial expressions
consciously. Aim to reflect
passion and generate empathy
with the listener by using soft,
gentle, and aware facial
expressions. As much as
possible, except when culture
dictates, avoid negative facial
expressions, such as frowns or
raised eyebrows.
6. Communicate eye to eye. Eye contact
establishes rapport, helps to
convince that you're trustworthy,
and displays interest. During a
conversation or presentation, it is
important to look into the other
person's eyes if possible and
maintain contact for a reasonable
amount of time.
8. Determine whether your body language is
in sync with your message. Your body
language is effective if it communicates the
message you want it to communicate. Does
your posture communicate confidence, or
does it make you seem unsure of yourself
even though your words express
confidence? If your non-verbal signals
match your words, you'll not only
communicate more clearly, you'll also be
perceived as being more charismatic.

14. Know the difference between being funny and having a sense of humour.
Having a sense of humour means being able to laugh at—or at least see the
humour in—life's absurdities.
Not all kinds of humour appeals to everybody, and some humour simply cannot be
brought into everyday life.
What might be humorous, or even funny, could also be seen as clueless, or even
tasteless, depending on the situation.
18. Smiles, they're beautiful and yet freely given
to everyone around you. A smile can never
run out of style and out of mode for they are
the best things one can ever wear.
Inexpensive too, smiles create an infinite
impact on people and life in general. A smile
given to the right person at the right time
could influence what that person does next
and the choices they make.
Smiles have the power to break down the cold
walls of indifference and warm a lonely heart
that's blue. Discover one of life's most
constructive weapons and that's the power of
your smile positioned for your own
advantage.
