Insulating mats are used to provide safety for electricians and technicians working with live electrical equipment. The mats are made of dielectric elastomers and are divided into classes based on their voltage ratings and thickness, with Class C mats providing protection up to 65kV. The mats have high electrical resistance and are fire retardant, resistant to chemicals, and can withstand temperatures from -10°C to +60°C to safely insulate workers from accidental electrical currents.

Each Meter of Mat should be free from all type of harmful physical irregularities such as pinholes, cracks, blisters,
cuts, conductive embedded foreign matter, creases, pinch marks, voids, entrapped air and prominent ripples.
