This document provides instructions for creating a profile for a composer on a fake social media site called Fakebook. Students will work in groups to research the life of a randomly assigned composer and create a Fakebook profile that includes their biography, friends who lived during the same time period, at least 10 posts about the composer's life sorted chronologically, and 10 comments on the posts. The profile must include minimum required information like the composer's birthday, location, works, and hobbies. Students will save their work, share it with the teacher, and can return to edit it over time.

This work will be in groups of up to four students. Once assigned the composer, you will have to locate
a couple of his biographies (look at Wikipedia and another in Google) and learn about their lives. It is
convenient to make a script or draft paper of the characters, and put what you want in the order in
which you are going to do it.

2. We write the full name of the composer in UPPERCASE. We will tell you if we want the
default photo (and gets one) or if we do not like, we've got some previously saved on
yourcomputer.
3. We click on EDIT PROFILE and put the profile of the composer. You can put more, but
it is mandatory Birthday, Birthplace, Nationality, Death, Where they studied,

2. occupation or profession (several), marital status, children and hobbies or interests.

4. We add friends, FRIENDS, clicking [add]. When writing their full names, also
you tell us if we want the default photo or we have got some saved on your
computer. Careful! We must verify that this is the right photo, sometimes it
putsthe wrong photos.
5. We click[Add Post]to makeourfirstentry.

6. Now it is very important to save our work. To do this we
click on the yellow square of the right to SAVE and we are
asked (top of page) to write a password. Write it on the
agendaofclass.FAKEBOOK.AFTERclickin SUBMIT.

7. Entries can be changed by clicking on the pencil, or
erase by clicking on the cross. But do not forget that at least one

3. friend should always appear, an entry and a profile, otherwise it
will notletyou "save".
8. If the order of the entries is incorrect or you want to include some in between
two alreadywritten,you can drag themto thedesiredplacewith themouse.
9. Comment on writing other people's comments to an entry, following the same
stepsin point5.
10. To add YouTubevideoson someentries,copyingtheURL ofthevideo (which
appearsin theaddressbar)in thecontent.

You must mark the comments with "who", "liked this", or "who", "does not
like this", simply by typing in the likes comment. or dislikes this (do not
forgetthedot)and thumb up ordown appears.

13. To re-enter the work and continue or change something, click in your URL (from
favorites or from where the store on the computer), type the password and are ready
to continue working.

4. Minimum Contents Fakebook
1. Name and last name in capital letters composer.
2. Profile with at least the following data:
Birthday
Place of birth
Death
Studies
Occupation
Marital status
Children
Nationality
Hobbies
3. Minimum of 8 friends involved in the entries or comments.
4. The friends have to live in the same period of the composer. Their names should appear
correctly written and photographs be appropriate. Therefore you should carefully check the
dates.
5. Minimum of 10 entries in the news feed describing the most relevant data from the biography of
this composer. The author can be the composer himself or one of the friends.
6. Entries must clearly indicate the date (year) and appear sorted from ancient to modern plank
bottom up (ie, the last to appear to be something on his/her death).
7. Minimum 10 comments 10 entries.
8. You must incorporate 4 major works of the author (YOUTUBE) and comment who likes this or
who dislikes this.
