2. - Hello and Welcome back to another Chapter of ‘Instant City – a BaMC Challenge! Last time, we saw how the E
household went around the world, dealt with Ninj@$$, Bigfoot, Witch Doctors, broken plumbing and hidden treasures…
and Instant City got its – probably last for the season – Business district, a quiet little Island somewhere in the endless
wide of the sea…-
‘Okay, so Instant City is an island, Numa Key too, and this Mosh Spicy Harbour as a connection to the dry land works as
well… but what about all these other parts? There isn’t really any connection terrain-wise or other that would qualify this as
a single Metropolis…?’
- Oh for… please, don’t start with the logic games again…-

3. ‘Well, excuse me for pointing out the flaws in this city design after maxing logic.…’
- You are the apartment witch – no offense – you can do magic, you of all peo… Servos should know…-
‘I never asked for that, that was the C households idea with their stupid ‘Dark Fun Side’ thing…!’
- … and they already regret it, believe me… now, go max the other skills too, so you can get a decent job… -
’But the pets are the only ones in our household who work, while it’s our job to stay at home and fill their bowls…’
- … there is so much wrong with this statement I don’t even…-
‘Fine – We’ll get jobs, but somebody has to stay home…’

4. -… and so it was decided that it would be… no, not Serva F-2’s job to have no job, because if you complain, you don’t get
what you want… but Serva F-1 would be the pets caretaker for now, while her Servo friend would get a job in the Business
Career….-

5. -… while Serva F-2…-

6. -… and her Servo friend would get a job in law enforcement, finally making use of the 6 fires the C household created…-

7. -… and so, while our former pet caretakers finally got a taste of what it’s like to really work for a change…-

things instead shows pictures of them doing their private business…’

17. -… so how about Maxim and his Foster Mom - I view them that way, as Crystal interacted with the kittens more than
anyone else – playing together…-

20. -… meanwhile, the first day of real work ends – and it ends with promotions, great! Well, guess you earned yourself a little
out time…-
‘Oh, does that mean, we can go on vacation like the E household?!’
- Ehrr, not so much… had enough of vacation last household… but a little trip to Numa Key might not hurt…-

21. ‘… figures, you just sent us here to abuse the fact that Sims can learn these free time skills on a Community Business…’
- Oh, you’re always nitpicking… enjoy not being under time pressure while learning these…-

22. -… and enjoy, that upon your return, nice people already sent you gifts…-
‘Oh joy… wait, why is the evil Link gifting something to us? ‘
-… because you are friends with him? –
‘Yes okay, but why all of a sudden? It’s been a while since we met him, like last season or so…’
-… well… perhaps Link still wants to support the ‘evil fun side’ he started over at the C…-
‘Oh, come on – again this? Nobody mentioned this crazy idea since the C household!’
-…. Well excuse me for bringing it up now, apparently Link tries really hard resurrecting it, so you could at least be polite
and…-

23. -… max your magic skills, Serva F-2…-
‘This – is – the – lamest – transition you ever pulled off! Seriously, Link drops a belated outing gift, and you take it as an
excuse to make me max magic?!’
- Nonono – Link dropped a gift to remind you that the ‘evil fun side’ isn’t dead yet and that you as one of the turned
witches from the C household should do everything to…-
‘Oh no, I’m not going that route! This is stupid! I refuse to do that! I’d rather destroy this ‘evil fun side’ concept rather than…
dang, this is another subplotting you doing here, right?’
- *whistles innocently*-

24. -… thankfully, Serva F-2’s brooding was soon vanquished by the arrival of all the Bigfeet from household F-2… must have
been some annual Bigfoot hiking day or so… in any way, Serva F-2 became soon friends with them, learned a bit about their
interests, likes and dislikes…
‘… and the awkward transition continues…*sigh*’
‘… wait, so you don’t wanna be friends with me and my pals or share common interests and stuff…?’
‘Ye… NO – I mean YES! I want to have friends… I just don’t want it as a plot dev… I give up, forget what I said, let’s be friends,
okay?’

25. -… And so Serva F-2 and the Bigfeet became friends… and she even had a deep conversation with the first Bigfoot of Instant
City, Smooth Criminal Michael Bigfoot…-
*cue Smooth Criminal*
‘*Sigh*’
‘Wow, that must be really hard, being the behind of this joke for so long…’
‘Yeah… sometimes I regret coming here…’
‘Then why did you stay here in the first place?’

26. ‘… friends…’
‘Friends?’
‘.. Yeah, well, I lived in the hidden burrow, pretty lonely place… and I’m a guy with maxed skills in everything, I thought I
could make a career and get famous when coming here… unfortunately, all you Servos do is skill and go to work… and I
don’t need any friends to get promoted, and as a criminal mastermind being famous isn’t as easy as infamous…’
‘And the other Bigfeet?’
‘Oh yes, that helped, that’s why I brought them over in the first place… but come on, think about it: we are 4 Bigfeet, 4 in a
city of over hundredandsix… I mean over 8000… and do you think, anybody thinks about our needs?...’

27. ‘… I mean seriously – how come there isn’t a shoe shop yet for oversized feet? We are Bigfeet, it’s in the name, so why no
shoes?!’
‘… uh… did you consider buying at the Fish shop, they sell those oversized…?’
‘Do you like wearing shoes that smell like fish?’
‘… point taken… must suck to be a minority… no offense, I blame the majorities for that…ehrr, which would be me too with
being a Servo and so, but I… I mean…’
‘No, no, it’s okay –and you’re right, it’s easy to overlook a single cryptozoological creature like myself in a big city…’
‘Well, in that case….’

28. ‘… have you considered inviting a few more Big Feet to Instant City? Changing the minority status I mean…’
‘Hey – that’s actually a good idea… after all, with all you Servos moving into apartments, we could probably fit into one of
those easily…’
‘Why not move into your own apartment?’
‘Nah, that wouldn’t work…. We’re Big Feet, it’s kind of a habit: either lonely in the woods, or with Sims – or Servos for that
matter - elsewhere… you’re kinda like pets to us…’
‘HEY!...never mind, I can relate, it’s the same for us Servos and other Sims…. So, about the ‘more Bigfeet’ thing – how are
you gonna accomplish that? I mean, where do Big Feet actually come from? Do you just spawn at the burrow?’
?

29. ‘Oh no, of course not… see, it goes like this… when a Daddy Bigfoot and a Mommy Bigfoot love each other very, very much,
they…’

30. ‘:.. HA, HA! Nah, just kidding – we just spawn at the hidden burrow, of course….’
‘… wonderful… now the image of two hairy meat bags…. doing… things… is stuck in my circuits for the rest of my
existence…’
‘… now it’s stuck in my head too, brrr… and we Bigfeet don’t even want to procreate… ’

31. ‘… never mind… so, I guess, it’s settled then – you invite some more Bigfeet, and then you’ll all be recognized here and
stuff…and then the guy who writes this story will be really satisfied for writing such an ingeeeenious subplot twist….’
- Was that ironic or…? –
‘Do you even need to ask…?’

32. ‘Hmmyeah… that sounds like a good idea… but what about the pets?’
‘About the pets? Do you mean us?’
‘No, the cats and dogs – your household and ours. Because if I invite more Bigfeet, where will they stay?’
‘Well, even an 8 person-household can hold 2 pets…’
‘Yes, but I also would like some new little critters… and pets are just as much a minority as us Bigfeet, it feels a bit unfair, if
they have to put down just because of us…’
‘Oh, right, haven’t thought of that….’

33. ‘…Uh, uh, uh – I have it! What if… we move and merge both our households, with the usual 2 Servos per household rule…
and then you Bigfeet can have the remaining spots, but we only allow 7 persons per household – that way, we can have two
pets, and they can still procreate one critter per time and…!’
‘… and then sell them to other households, so they can have critters as well, filling all Instant City with them – yes, that’s a
great idea…!’
- I second that! –
‘… … Oh, shut up….’

34. ‘… anyway, then it’s decided… and might I suggest another idea?’
‘Which is…?’
‘You’ve heard about this ‘Evil fun side’ thing…? I mean, the whole ‘Evil Link wants an evil side, screws up, Serva C-3 wants a
fun side, screws up as well and makes the entire neighborhood sharing her fate by making grey servo witches and wizards…
the good witch must be laughing her… off… and then this silly Magic District thing…?’
‘…yes?’

35. ‘… well, how about we get ourselves a piece of this thing and hijack the entire district for you and your Bigfoot friends?
Make them Bigfoot household only owned?’
‘Hey, good idea! And the district even has so much plants and green – perfect for animals – and the spooky places probably
have a lot of bones dogs can dig out and rats cats can catch…’
‘Yeah, yeah, yeah… there! We did it! Your silly subplot is done! Can I go now?’
- Proceed…-

36. -… and after the subplot for the coming events established…-
‘Unbelievable – where do you get these ideas? And this isn’t meant as a compliment…’
-… it’s chance card time again for none other than Serva F-2 herself: Serva F-2 has called two of her best cops to her office.
One is two days from retirement, the other one is a black sheep, never listens to orders and his arrests of suspects always
come with a lot of property damage. They always catch the criminals, but this time they went too far, leveling an entire
district in the process and even let the main villain escape for now… Serva F-2’s head is in the line, and it will roll, if they
don’t catch the main villain soon. Serva F-2 has only two choices: to yell at them or to yell at them and take their badges? –
‘… okay, that’s even sillier than you story… apparently, everyone involved with this game is a potential looney...’

37. -So: Serva F-2 decides to yell at them and take their badges. Both are surprised, because Serva F-2 never went through with
her yelling before. To prove them to her, they decide to catch the criminal now by themselves, working their way up in the
main villains organization to bring him to justice. Risking Leg and limb, they are finally successful, the main villain goes into
prison, and te cops are reinstated. Serva F-2 – for her good personal management – gets promoted to SWAT team leader…-
‘Wait – I suspend them, they do it on their own, and I get promoted for it? The Heck?!’
- ‘Potential Looney’… welcome to the club…-

38. -… so Serva F-2 gets promoted, and since there is some time left, went right back to work…-

39. -… and while he wasn’t involved with Serva F-2’s Chaos Cops, Servo F-2 got promoted too, left to work as well…-

40. -… and after the all popular ‘stargaze together or not’ hobby chance card…-

41. -… and being disappointed and losing enthusiasm for science…-

42. -…another work day ends..-

43. -… and everyone gets promoted…-

44. -… and Link continues occupying the lot with gifts… little did he know, that his plan to resurrect the evil fun side was already
hijacked by Serva F-2’s bigfeeted plan to…-
‘Stop that!’
-… but I…-
‘No! Bad writer, no cookies…!’
-… awww…-

45. -… *sigh*… guess I have to cut down with the subplot and instead go read more chance cards for now....Servo F-2 looks
through some documents and discovers, that apparently some cops stole money from the pension funds. Servo F-2
interrogates them and they confess their crime, but then try to bribe him with a big sum of money. Will Servo F-2 take part in
this scheme or arrest them?

46. - Servo F-2 rejects the offer and informs the bureau for internal affairs, and an investigation starts, that cleans all criminal
activities inside the police for good. Unfortunately, many Cops aren’t that happy with the dishonorable discharge of their
colleagues even if they deserved it and blame Servo F-2 for it. So Servo F-2 decides to give his career in the police and
instead becomes the masked crime fighter Captain Hero! … who of course gets his payment now from all the marketing
ads with his counterfeit on it….-

47. -… oh and Serva F-2 gets to the top too… and Servo F-1 gets to level 9, but unfortunately, no more workdays before fall…-

48. -… so I guess it’s time to finally get the subplot rolling again… -

49. -… first, by moving out Servo and Serva F-2 out plus 4 pets…-

50. -… then moving in Michael and Angelo, the Criminal Masterminds from households F-2…-

51. -… and finally, buying ourselves into the Magic District…-

52. -… and acquiring one of the spooky houses Voleste created, 92 Creepy Hollow, Old man’s lum – originally a residential lot…-

53. -… remade into a small community business to sell stuff…-

54. -… mostly just little decorative items with a little magic/mystical relation… like ancient vases, candles, fairy statues, garden
gnomes… yeah, admittedly, not really inventive or really in the spirit of a magical district, but I was out of ideas… -

55. -… though it didn’t stop the reviewer from giving us a price…-

56. -… and as you might already have noticed, even Professor Disc decided to grace the premise with his presence…-

57. -… and after a few friendly greetings…-

58. -… the Professor was more than eager to give us the five customer stars we needed…-

59. -… to push the business to level 5…-

60. -… also, Serva F-1 got a Bronze restocking badge…-

61. -… an Angelo Bigfoot bought another business…-

62. -…. And the money invested in it got reimbursed by the 5 money perks Michael Bigfoot got for this business….-

63. -… and here is the next one, again made by Voleste, 91 Creepy hollow, Alfred's B&B, also a former residential lot…-

64. -… which, because the name indicates that it is meant to be a ‘bed & breakfast’, was turned into a restaurant… because you
can’t run a hotel at Sims 2 anyway and why restrict myself to breakfast then…?... yeah, I’m so imaginative and know so
much abut B&B*...and yes, I realized I shouldn’t have placed the stereo square, it looks silly, if the guests come out of it…-
- *Really, I don’t - googled B&B and Barbeque and Breakfast was the first thing I read and used… me dumb…-

65. -… so after placing the stereo right and realizing, that the big empty front of the lot instills little incentive to actually walk to
the restaurant , so I had to place a ticket machine to make Sims come over, the business began to flourish… though it took a
while to get it up, and mostly because the stereo and snapdragons were such a roof raiser…-

66. -… and once again, we can thank the Evil Link for giving us the final stars for the restaurant to make it to level 5… still,
despite his ‘evil fun side’ kinda somehow eventually perhaps picking up, he didn’t look so happy about it…guess, he realizes,
what the Bigfeet are planning…-

67. -… and what about you, Vonnie? –
‘Hm? Oh, right, Link’s ‘cunning’ plan… almost forgot that this was his brainchild… anyway, it’s nice that the Bigfeet have
taken matters into their hairy paws here – though I am a bit disappointed, this entire ‘spooky’ part of the Magic District is a
bit lifeless if you catch my drift…’
- Oh don’t worry, we’re done with the Spooky part for now, it’s getting much more lively now…-

68. -… but first, more money perks…-

69. -… and then let’s go home.. But first, Michael hands over his community business to Angelo…-

70. -…. And then Angelo moves out of the house… yep, just moved in, already moved out, just for the money perks…and the
level 5 businesses, but don’t worry, they won’t stay level 5 for long…-
‘We’re not so much worried but disgusted at you being so greedy…’

71. -…. And right after that, Michael was sent on vacation to…-

72. -… Three Lakes again, to finally get some more Bigfeet to Instant City…-
‘Ehrr… why can’t I go to the hidden burrow?’
-… … …. Dang! Never realized, that you can live on the camping ground in Three Lakes for free, but can’t(!) leave the Lot!...-

73. -… okay, so we went over to one of the hotels in Three Lakes, and then we went over to the hidden burrow…-

74. -… where August Bigfoot is waiting for us… August? Seriously?...-
‘What do you have against August?! It’s a good name!’
-… sorry, but outside the month and the emperor, the thought of the clown figure in the circus was the first thing coming to
mind… would you mind wearing a red nose and makeup? *imagines Bigfoot with clown makeup*–
‘NO!’
- Awww… -

75. -… okay, so Michael returned, having a great vacation just from visiting the hidden burrow, meeting and befriending a
bigfoot alone…-

76. -… and not to waste any vacation perks, because they don’t add up after several vacations, August was sent to Three Lakes
next…-

77. -… annnnd… here’s Bruno the Bigfoot! Wow, a real celebrity….Hey, Bruno, where’s your long-necked GF? –
‘… What?’
- Aw come on, Bruno – remember Sam & Max? Conroy Bumpus? Irwin Keyes ? -
‘… what is he talking about? I don’t know any of these people…?’
- Awww….-
‘Oh, ignore him, when I met him, he wanted me to wear clown makeup – now come, we still have to change public opinion
about shoe shops for Big Feet…’

78. -… and another perfect vacation ended…-

79. -… and Bruno was next…-

80. -… and this time we have René…hmm… sounds French… are you a French-Canadian sasquatch? -
‘Qu’est-ce qu’il dit?’
-… we are all talking Simlish here, so please, don’t get yourself dragged into being the ‘French Foot’… !’

‘... Let’s go… I mean: marche!’

81. -… and René goes on vacation too and…-
‘ Ti-Ning? Quel drolé…’
-… just for translation: René said last time ‘what does he/you say?’ And now he commenting on the funny name… honestly,
Ti-Ning sounds really off in Three Lakes, more suited to Takemizu Village or so…-
‘ I have you know, that the Yeti IS the definite Bigfoot of the Himalaya – also, Japan has the Hibagon…!’
-… okay, point taken… of course, now all the other names so far are kinda off…-

82. -… anyway, all shenanigans aside, we reached our goal, as this is – for now –the definite F household configuration, 2
Servos, 5 Bigfeet, and 2-3 pets, with 2 pets being –hopefully – the parents every time… -
‘ This is a really cruel way of playing… what about randomness, family relations, not knowing, what the next day brings…’
- We have smooth Criminal Michael, the August(e), Bruno the Bigfoot, René the Sasquatch and Ti-Ning… sounds pretty
random for me…-
‘You just use our names to make something up…’
‘Qu’est ce que tu dis?’
‘Oh, shut up…!’

83. -… so with the household completed, we went on to the next Community business, Vernon’s Vault…-

84. -… and unlike the spoooky residential-turned-community-lots, it is a already a bit brighter, even at night…-

85. -… no thanks to…-
‘AAAH! FIRE! FIRE!’
-… yeah…. I never tested the lot as a community lot, but as a community business, the fire jets placed on the lot
immediately set everything on fire… thankfully, you learned the firefighting skill already, sooo…-
‘FIRE! FIRE! FIRE!’
-…. This might take a while…-

86. -… okay, so the fire was successfully fought – and to prevent further fires, I used a trick from the bonfire club, fencing in the
fire jets…. And while they were placed a bit outside the grid by Voleste, fencing in the right tile helped…-

87. -… all the place needed now was a little spicing up in the form of snapdragons… and some big feet with all the necessary
business skills needed… let the blablabla begin anew…-

88. -… then some final skills…-

89. -… and a decently placed tent, if the snapdragons can’t keep you awake…-
‘Aaah… now this is more a place I like…much more lively, right ,Mrs. Tubbypuffs?’
‘*Mreeoww*’
‘Oh yes – sooo relaxing… I think, I’ll just lie down and do nothing for the rest of the day….’

90. - 5 minutes later… –
‘Haha! Nobody beats Vonnie ‘the 8-Ball ’ Engler! If you had pants, you now had to hand them over to me, boy foot..!’
‘Qu’est-ce que tu dis?’
‘Je l'ai dit, que vous avez eu à me donner vos pantalons, garcon pied…’
‘…what?’
‘Ahah – I KNEW IT! You just pretend to speak French… also, your canadian accent is way off…well, mine too, as is my French,
but still….!’
‘Ehrr…. Uh… please don’t tell anyone, k?...it’s kind of a thing for me…’

91. -… meanwhile…-
‘Hehehe… nice kitty, good kitty… come to Link…!’
- Link! Don’t you dare do anything to Mrs. Tubbypuffs! –
‘What?! Can’t you imagine, that the great and powerful Link might be evil and still like cats? Heck, I have a spectral cat
myself!... Somewhere… come to think of it, where did I left the thing…?’
-…and while Link started pondering the fact whether or not spectral cats needed to be fed and if at this point it would be a
good idea to even try summon his own ever again,…-

92. -… another disadvantage of the lot besides the fire engines became clear… as some of the trimmable bushes and flowers
are unreachable to trim, so I had to install a hack to fix that…-

93. -… so after a hard day of gardening, a first Bigfoot meeting was scheduled…-
‘Okay, gang, we now own three lots in the magic district out of actually 9 lots that can be placed here, and the one made
into a hotel is already out of everyone’s grasp, so only 5 more lots to go before we own the place…and yes, this is kinda
irrelevant to giving Big Feet a better platform to get acknowledged in Instant City, but the guy who writes this was out of
ideas – again – so we just pretend, that everything is going according to plan… also, René , please stop speaking French, as
we all overheard your little talk with the infallible good witch…
‘Awwwwww….’

94. -… and since everything is going according to… plan… , it was time to share some more skills, like passing on the inofficial
greeting of Instant City, how to hang loose…-
‘This inside joke again? Are you never getting tire of that?’
- I’m playing a game that is over 10 years old now, what do you expect? -

95. -… of course, we also learned all the other greetings as well, and Tai-Chi – which was for the first time actually useful,
because unlike Servos, whose energy isn’t raised by Tai-Chi, Big Feet can raise their energy with it…-

96. -… and soon, everyone was doing the Tai-Chi, including Link…-

97. -… and after everyone was now in perfect mood and highly energized, the business was finally opened… again, a ticket
machine was necessary to lure Sims onto the premise…-

98. -… and to all the amenities, like the restaurant upstairs…-

99. -… and while the snapdragons with their hunger-filling abilities should have lowered the restaurants appeal, visitors didn’t
mind, even if they made it difficult to eat… also, they are necessary to keep the waiters and clerk happy…-

100. -… and while I could have included pics of Sims having fun at Vernon’s Vault, I of course totally focused on raising the
business level to 5, so there we are already…-

101. -… and more money perks…-

102. -… so we can now buy another lot…-

103. -… 93 Calamity Forest, a Spooktacular Spot, because apparently it is meant as a cemetery….-

104. -… admittedly, one of the coolest cemeteries I’ve ever seen…-

105. -… complete with a little chapel to celebrate the dead passing on…-

106. -… and not complete with a ticket machine to lure Sims here, but of course I fixed that…-

107. -… we also have a small shop next to it, where people can buy all kinds of stuff that can or shouldn’t be placed on graves,
and where every customer is greeted with a friendly hang loose, especially the older customers, who will probably stay here
forever one day…-

108. -… and there’s also a small restaurant – again…-

109. -… and without graves, the grave yard could be occupied with our versatile tents, until we made it to level 5 again…-
‘You’re really rushing that through, don’t you…’
- See, we’re placing all these colorful lots that need a lot of trimming due to all the plants, I’m running all over the place and
the customers are really blank spots not really staying for long or doing anything funny, so these pics sum up what’s it all
about anyways… now let’s go back to Vernon’s Vault, after handing it over to another Bigfoot for more money perks…-

110. - …Btw, these are Vernon’s Vault and the Spooktacular Spot together… and yes, the Magic District is still a concrete
neighborhood, and the Spooky Lots look like dirt ground… because of a little trick I discovered: if you use the terrain
template cheat, than leave the hood, reenter it, place a lot, enter, save and exit the lot, change the terrain again to the old
look and then leave and reenter it again, the lots, as long as they aren’t moved(!) afterwards, will keep the template look
they had when you placed and entered them, so you can have concrete, dirt, desert and temperate lots in the same hood….

your pets to the next, because 2 of 10 available spots in the next family are open, allowing you to move in more Bigfeet and
keep 2-3 pets…-

151. -… so after a fulfilling day of hard work at the Magic District, the F-1 A household returns home, and since there was time
left, we just try something…-

152. -… and – Lullaby! Yep, having 7 Sims and 2 pets allows you to procreate at least one pup, great… -

153. -… and with that, the second half of the F-1 household closes out as well…-

swimmable Forest Lake by Plasticbox at Mts.com, which I placed right into the middle of Coral island…-

never mentioned how all the new Bigfeet and lots raised the Population… yep, all of this time I hold back, just to preserve
