- This is an apartment lot called ‚5 the Bridge‘ made by Itas84 at mts.com…. And again, I replaced the Custom Content
with Maxis stuff… -
‚ What do you have against Custom Content?‘
- Nothing – which is exactly the problem… my Download folder is around 7 Gigabytes big, and the game needs to load 15
minutes with it… so for this challenge, I took most of it out and am now enjoying the Speeeed… -
‚*Sigh*… well, I guess, we can start then… let me get my metallic brethren out and then move on to the next lot…‘

4. ‚ …By the way, is it just me or are all the other residents elders? I feel like in a retirement home….‘

6. - So after moving out, originally I had a different idea how this household should earn his money – I wanted Household E to
be diggers… -

7. -… unfortunately, they weren‘t very successfully with it…-

8. -…in fact, it became apparent, that digging is one of the few things Servos are really unfit for… -

-Take note: if there is ever a rise of the servos, just replace your guns with water pistols, then the problem should be solved
by the end of the week… -

9. - … also, it is really difficult to keep them focused on the digging task… -

- No, now stop cancelling your digging actions… I‘m getting cramps from typing them in constantly… -

11. - … and we resorted back to the ‚restaurant guide‘ solution… -

12. - … then a short visit to the military base again for some dating… -

13. -… and once everyone reached platinum, writing was commenced once more to earn money by talking about places these
guys have never been to and about food they never ate… -

don‘t really like Japanese foo…?‘

14. - anyway, before I finally decided what to do with this household, I also tried adopting a stray…-

16. -… as this wolf-dog wandered off before she could be asked to move in… Hey! Come back here , you flea-ridden…! –

- … really, really nice, well-behaved, totally peaceful doggie? -

17. - …welll, then we tried to befriend this little guy… at least he’s not that big and terrifying……-

18. -… and the option finally appeared… -

19. - … it turned out, it wasn‘t possible after all…. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO…..!!!!– Apparently, while for pets and Sims the
limit should be 10 Playables on the lot, with a maximum of 6 pets allowed, the 8-Persons-limit already prohibits moving
in anymore pets… Kus-…! -

- … hmpf, okay, okay… -

20. - … anyway, with both digging and adopting pets failing, the next days went by without much happening ‘cept the usual
restaurant guide pay check… -
‚Urgh, hfff… If I find these people who dug up all these holes around the house, I‘ll end them! Oh well, this will just go extra
on the bills for the house…‘

21. ‚… What? This bill is outrageous, and what‘s with all these extra costs for broken water pipes?!‘
- …says the guy whose household has earned more than a 100.000 with restaurant guides without... Oh forget it.. -

22. - In the end, provided with enough money, initially I just wanted to just switch all of the Servos off and wait till the season
was over – that‘s the great thing with Servos, if you want to play them fast, just switch them off and go to speed 3, except
for paying the bills and rent, there‘s nothing else to do…. -

23. - … but then I remembered, that we dug up some treasure maps from the digging… -

25. ‚ Konniki-… ehr…wallawalla…?... Oh, you speak Simlish? Great, so I‘d like to purchase an expensive vacation home, because
the guy who plays this challenge will be really p*??*d off that we waste all this money on… ah okay, then I‘ll take the more
expensive one with the pond…‘

26. ‚… and make it a looong vacation, then it will cost even more money…‘

27. -So the vacation started… *man, I wish I could go on vacation in real life at some point in the future*… -

28. - … and this is the home they‘ll be staying in – kawai! –

29. - … and here‘s the new idea I had for this household: fishing! This is another example of how silly a Sims game sometimes is
– Servos are totally unfit to dig, because the broken water pipes constantly threaten them, but fishing right to the water
with these funny little ‚‘I slipped‘ animations… nope, Servos can become master fishers in no time… -

30. - okay, so while the others did the fishing, I decided to let E-3 do some little sightseeing… -

41. -… so with the ninja being too jumpy, we did some sightseeing instead…. -

43. - Chance Card! : The group is separated from the guide in the bustle of the market. The tourists are looking everywhere for
the guide, but can‘t find him.. What should they do now? Wait at the bus and hope, that the guide returns soon or go
looking for him at the market?
‚Let‘s go look for him! At least we can see something of the market!‘

44. - The market is bustling with Sims. When die excursionists finally find their guide at the other end of the market, some of
them realize to their horror, that their wallets have been stolen! - BAD CHOICE! –
‚ Not for me! I don‘t have any pockets to pick and we‘ve already established that wasting ‚your‘ hard-earned money…‘

45. -… okay, next vacation memento: raking the Zen garden… -

46. - .. And then learning the local greeting… -
‚You know, racist or not, but none of these people look in any way ‚Far eastern‘… I mean, it‘s a vacation spot, shouldn‘t they

47. - Despite E-3‘s continuing protests, that none of the locals looked in any way Far Eastern, the bowing made progress…-

50. - This time it‘s the helicopter – oh and just FYI – buying a maxis helicopter is pretty pointless, you can‘t travel to Community
lots and only take it on a joyride… well let‘s see how this one turns out… -

51. - On a hike (with a Helicopter?) through the Bamboo forest the excursionists find a panda with its pup. Everyone is
excited and wants to watch them closely. The tourist guide warns of the danger, but doesn‘t want to waste the rare
opportunity either. What should the group do? –
‚Meh, I‘m made of metal, I‘m not scared of a bear…‘
- … this is so wrong… and pandas aren‘t bears! -

52. - When the tourists are approaching, the mother tilts her head menacingly and watches them closely. When they are
close enough to touch the pup, she growls and snarls, before she takes her pup and climbs up a tree. When authorities
get wind of the circumstances, everyone gets charged with a fine, because they unlawfully approached the bear. –
‚ Your. Hard-earned. Money….‘
- *headdesk* -

53. - … okay, apparently, we don‘t have much luck with the vacation chance cards… but third times the charm, right? Right?! -

54. - The trip starts good, and the Sims admire the beautiful landscape, as suddenly someone screams. The guy let his hands
glide through the water and lost his watch. What should the group do? –
‚Hmmh, the water is dangerous and if that guy is dumb enough to lose his watch just by letting his hands glide through…
….
… Of course I‘ll help him!‘

55. - As one of the excursionists tries to fish for the watch, he catches an angry turtle instead. The turtle is furious and bites
several Sims, before she can be thrown back into the water. The remaining trip is spent in silence.-
- ‚Aw man… she didn‘t even took my money…‘
- Would you please stop making the money joke?! -

56. - … well, the turtle attack drained E-3‘s fun and energy, so we had to wait till sunlight… -
‚ no more trips please….‘
- oh, okay… -

57. - So instead we went for a relaxing massage…wait…-
‚… but, you‘re a robot, how should I…?‘
‚Look just pretend to give me a message, while I pretend to like it. As long as I have to give you money…‘

58. ‚… so for the massage, you have to apply pressure in the region of the lower ribs to… ehr…. Do you know, that you actually
consist of two parts with nothing holding you together in the middle ?‘

59. - … after being refreshed from the massage – and wasting money…. –

- Yeah, whatever… unfortunately, we didn’t buy five of them, as apparently placing them on the BV Shelf that goes on the
wall will give you a bonus to your skilling… -

- Okay, that‘s it! If you think you can annoy me with that – well, I just chain you to the computers and let you write
restaurant guides till the end of time! Now put that coin down! –

84. - Next, we‘ll take another bus ride and get the same Chance Card as E-3… -

85. -… and actually get the good one this time: Luckily, the Bus driver stayed at the bus and calls the tourist guide. Meanwhile,
the Group has the chance, to shop at the display stands nearby, instead of getting lost at the crowded market. Everybody
gains a charisma point! -

86. - … and then we run into the Ninja again… and fail to solve his riddle…. -

88. - … until we finally get it right… *phew* -

89. - Okay, all together, three of the household members learned how to teleport, until the vacation was over…. -

90. - … just one final Tai-Chi first, that‘s why everyone gains a fitness boost… -

come in handy… -

94. - … but first, another Platinum and making friends trip to the Military base – here I learned among other things, that if you
switch off your Servos, the timer for your vacation benefits stops until you reactivate them… -

95. - … and then it‘s back for the Job hunt – and how lucky, the job is the 4th right on the next day at the computer… -
- ‚ Dang! I should have wished for the computer not showing it too…‘

96. - … and since we need some body points for this career, a few fitness machines were placed… -

97. - … so work those bolts and plates, you maggots! –
‘Who are you calling maggot?! We are fishermen, and use maggots like you as bait!’

98. - Okay, the car for work is here, so get in there… -
‘9 persons in this tiny car? I already feel like a sardine in a can…’

99. - aaand: Chance Card!: While at work, Servo E-3 suddenly notices, that he has run out of bait. The remaining amount of
bait only lasts for about half a day, and they never told Servo E-3 what to do, if he runs out. Should Servo E-3 buy more
bait or should he use a decoy?
‘… hm, I think, that the fishes prefer real bait to a decoy – be right back!’

100. - Servo E-3 runs off and buys as much bait as he can carry. Catastrophe avoided! When Servo E-3‘s boss hears of his
efforts, he honors it by promoting him! –
‘Yay!’

101. - And another chance card – the same one again. However this time: Serva E-2 runs off and buys as much bait as she can
carry. Catastrophe avoided! However, when Serva E-2‘s boss get wind of it, he points out to her, that there are additional
bait storages for such an emergency. Said bait is now rotten, and thereforeServa E-2 must pay 150 Simoleons for the
bait she bought out of her own pocket… -
‚Aw man…‘

102. - Okay, so Serva E-1 and E-4 also got the Chance card, were lucky to get promoted, and since there was still time, went right
to their new job as a dolphin tank cleaner… -

103. - …as was Servo E-2 – who then got another chance card with a talking dolphin pleading to release him. He didn’t do it –
shame on you – and: Servo E-2 doesn’t take orders from dolphins , even such cute ones, and refuses to release him. The
dolphin is furious and therefore refuses to participate in the stunt show later on. Servo E-2’s boss is angry too, and Servo
E-2 doesn’t get paid today!
‘Oh, and if I had released him, I would have been fired, right? Why didn’t he just fly away like in this Hitchhiker to the galaxy
movie…?’

104. - … meanwhile, Serva E-4 was luckier – and shows, that there area lot of talking dolphins out there, so don‘t consider this
such a miraculous event…- : Serva E-4 doesn’t take orders from dolphins , even such cute ones, and refuses to release him.
However, when the dolphin starts banging his head against the gate to the open sea, Serva E-4 realizes that something isn’t
in order. She calls for the veterinarian, who immediately treats the dolphin and gives thanks to Serva E-4 for her quick
reaction. As a reward for saving the dolphin, Serva E-4 gets promoted! -

105. - … and since the chance cards just keep coming and the working hours for Oceanography are perfect for getting
promoted several times per day, Serva E-1 also got a card, was promoted to Sea Lice Research Assistant, and - another
one: Watching Sea Lice doing nothing for hours, is too boring for Serva E-1, so she decides to play some Solitaire on the
computer. When she finishes the game, she suddenly realizes, that all the Sea Lice have disappeared! Where are they?
And even more important: What shall Serva E-1 do? Tell her boss the truth or replace the Sea Lice and pretend nothing
happened?.. Well, I guess, you have to bite into the sour apple, E-1 and.. –
‚Says you!‘

106. -… Serva E-1 quickly grabs a few Sea Lice from another aquarium and throws them into the original aquarium, hoping that
nobody notices. Later, her boss ist surprised to actually see movements from such young Sea Lice. The surprising research
findings lead to more funding and Serva receives a small bonus of 300 Simoleons!

- You are one of the reasons that make me wish that we never try out our hands on antimatter reactors or zombie viruses… -

107. - Another chance card – again a fitness related one: On her way to Lunch (sunlight?), Serva E-3 twists her right ankle
(metal?) on the stairs. The pain (?) is bearable, but Serva E-3 is unsure, if she should still participate in the charity hike
this afternoon. What should she do? -
‘ This card doesn’t make sense – I go!’

108. - … Serva E-3 decides to ignore her pain for the duration of the hike. The event becomes a complete success, all her
colleagues are there, and the atmosphere is great. Serva E-3 feels great, and her fitness enthusiasm grows! –
‚Whatever…‘

109. - … in any case, Serva E-3 ended up to having received the most promotions that day, ending up as an underwater
demolitionist… -

110. - … and then Outings gifts from their friends from the military base rolled in… why does nobody ever gift me a DJ Booth,
huh? -

111. - … or a telescope, for that matter….? -

112. - … or… red smoke? Seriously, why do give them red smoke? –
‚It‘s an expensive bust – and not my fault that it ends up in foundation!‘

- I never tried out the built-in wardrobes for woohoo before… or for servos for that matter… that‘s why I am unsure, if this is
a glitch, or… in any case, the game speeds up to 3 while they… you know what I mean, it‘s literally a qui…you know… in any
case, now that everyone is back in platinum… -

114. - … MOAR Chance Cards: Servo E-2 and her colleagues are working overtime, and decide to let Servo E-2 order some food.
Should he order the usual pizza or something exotic? –
‘I only eat sunlight… but I guess, pizza is okay…’

115. - Pizza – one of the foundations of office work. The pizza ordered by Servo E-2 however tastes rather bad, so everyone only
eats a few slices. Servo E-2 loses some of his enthusiasm for cooking… -
‘ Told ya that I only eat Sunlight… ‘

116. - … and another one: After an uneventful dive, Servo E-1 discovers a mermaid on one of the rocks near the boat. He never
believed in Mermaids, but his eyes (?) don’t lie. Should he alert the media or leave the mermaid alone? –
‘ I’ll go get the harpoon… ‘
- HEY! –
‘ What? She’s half fish, and you wouldn’t make a fuss, if her upper side would be the fish part!’

117. - It‘s an incredible discovery and Servo E-1 becomes rich and popular in a few days. Not only he makes the headlines of
the year, but is also rewarded with a promotion! –
‚Does that mean, I‘ll become a superstar?‘
- Not, just an underwater demolitionist.. –
‚Oh, how feeble and fleeting are fame and fortune…‘

118. ‚… still, it was an incredible week– and the next one will be as well!‘

119. - …during a morning walk Servo E-1 discovers a rather average looking insect. Back at home he discovers , that the bug is
in fact rather rare and hasn‘t been spotted in this environment yet. Should Servo E-1 trace his way back and try to find
the bug again or call the Expert Bug Tracers? -

120. - … Servo E-1 can‘t find the bug anymore and is very sad about this. He loses some enthusiasm for nature… -
‚…‘

121. - … and another number of promotions hit… -

122. - …and since we now have all the skills and friends needed, we‘ll just wait deactivated till the next day… -

123. - … and again off to work… -

124. - … and we‘ve run into winter already… but again, since some household members are at work right now, I‘ll wait until they
return before I leave the household… -

125. - … so again chance cards: During an expedition, Serva E-3 discovers a new type of algae. It is a remarkable discovery, and
the algae needs a name. Should Serva E-3 name them after herself or after the leader of the expedition? –
‚ Me of course – I don‘t even know the guys‘ name! Or do you?!‘

126. - … Since she found it, Serva E-3 decides to give it her own name. After publishing the results of her research a big marine

undamaged and can be salvaged now. Servo E-4 receives a mechanical point…. *sigh*, great way to end this right? -
