The INSPIRE Scholarship offers 10,000 scholarships worth Rs. 80,000 per year to students pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degrees in natural and basic sciences. It is available to students who rank in the top 1% of their 12th standard board exams, top 10,000 ranks of JEE Advanced or JEE Main plus NEET, or are admitted to certain elite institutions. The scholarship can be used at premier Indian institutes to study subjects like physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics. After completing an eligible degree program with good grades, INSPIRE scholars can receive additional fellowships for PhD studies or funding to work as faculty members.
