Facts :
1) The fungi on as bread piece grow from operas which are present in the air.
2) Observe the spares in the cotton like mesh on the bread
3) When spores are released they keep floating in the air
4) They are very light they can cover long distance
5) The spores are asexual reproductive bodies
6) Each sporeis covered by a hard protective coatto with stand unfavourable condition such as high temperature.
7) Under favourable conditions, opera germinates and develop unto an new individual.
8) Plants such as moss and years above reproduce by means of spores.

Pupil Response
Teacher gives the handout containing the points related to
spore formation and ask the students to read the point one
by one.

2) Observe the spores in the cotton like inserts on the
bread
3) When spores are released they keep foaling in the air.

Son : Yes, in bread piece as full of black things are
spreaded
Mom : Son don’t eat that, it is a fungus
