Zara Woodcock has worked for two media companies:
1) Ink Global, where she wrote articles and conducted interviews for various airline magazines with over 700 million readers. She interviewed tennis players and entrepreneurs.
2) GMM Grammy in Bangkok, the largest media company in Thailand. There she translated interviews, researched music shows, and assisted bands.
She realized her weaknesses included difficulty accepting criticism and having a short attention span. In the future, she will be more professional and open-minded.
Oxygen Excess Control of Industrial Combustion Through The Use of Automotive ...drboon
The objective of this study is to present a simple and low cost method of determining the flue gases oxygen concentration. The method makes use of the Lambda sensor, a part of the fuel injection system of the modern automobile’s engine. A combustion chamber was mounted with a heated Lambda sensor installed in its chimney. Residual oxygen concentrations in the flue gases were estimated by the use of the Nernst equation and compared to a reference combustion analyser. The observed average deviation in the measurements was of about 5 % which is in the range of interest to the industrial combustion.
Air ink is the first ink made from air pollution. It uses a device called Kaalink which captures carbon soot from vehicle emissions. The collected soot then passes through several filtration process and a high grade carbon pigment is obtained. Then finally this carbon is mixed with different solvents and oils to make inks and paints.
Not only inks, it is possible to make diamonds and carbon nano tubes from these pollutants. When carbon is subjected to a lot of pressure for two or three weeks, we can get diamonds.
These pollution capturing technologies are sustainable, eco- friendly and safe.
