The instrument can produce three sed rates in five minutes, using only 25 microliters of blood per sample. HemaTechnologies donated an ESR Stat Plus and other supplies to the Whitney Clinic in Haiti soon after it opened its doors. This donation allows the clinic to run quality laboratory blood tests and improve basic care for patients.
