What does it take to change history and destroy our reality? Change events on the same date, 4 July, in six different years. The Time Patrol must send an agent back to each day, with just 24 hours for each to defeat the Shadow's plan to disrupt our time-line, creating a time tsunami and wiping our present out.

- 2. Ivar’s Mission: Independence Day Travel back in time to Vicksburg, Mississippi. 4 July 1863 A.D. Interesting Facts About the Battle of Vicksburg: The Confederate commander, John C. Pemberton was actually a northener. His wife was southern and he chose to fight due to her influence, even though two of his brothers fought for the north. He chose to surrender on the 4th of July because “I know my people. I know we can better terms from them on the Fourth of Jul than on any other day of the year.” After the surrender, the Fourth would not be celebrated in Vicksburg for 81 years.
- 3. For his 24 hour bubble in time, Ivar must ensure that the surrender of the besieged city goes as history dictates. The Shadow has a terrifying plan to make Grant’s victory not just hollow, but an utter disaster for the Union.
