Travel back in time to Vicksburg
on 4 July 1863 A.D.
The day General Pemberton
surrenders to Ulysses S. Grant.
3.
4. While the Battle of
Gettysburg that same
week receives most of the
publicity, the surrender of
Vicksburg divided the
Confederacy and is of
greater strategic
importance.
5. For his 24-hour bubble in time, Ivar is a
Confederate Officer, meeting with Pemberton.
The surrender is set for later in the day.
Pemberton, a Northerner fighting for the South,
has something completely radical in mind.
6. Ivar, though, first has to face an
emissary of the Shadow, who tries
to stop him.
7. Ivar meets Pemberton in a cave,
burrowed into a ridge line, the only
way the civilians of Vicksburg have
survived Grant’s bombardment.
8. When Ivar finally talks to Pemberton, he
finds the General crazed and ranting,
talking of having met an Angel.
9. When Ivar learns Pemberton’s plan, as
dictated by the ‘Angel’, he realizes that
Grant’s great victory, will turn into a
disaster of historical proportions.
10. Will Ivar be able to stop Pemberton
and keep our history intact?
