1) Children from GPS Teegal Kunta School participated in a health awareness activity where they interacted with the local community health center. 2) They spoke with Dr. Vijay Lakshmi who explained the services provided by the health center such as treatment for fever, TB, influenza, maternity care, and accident cases. 3) The doctor checked the children's heartbeats and dental health, answering their questions. She advised them on proper oral hygiene and treating headaches.

Design for Change Contest in GPS Teegal Kunta 2<br />Date: 23/9/2010<br /> Activity: Health Awareness <br />Designed by:Syed Wajid Mohiuddin <br />Ghousia Begum4Shabana Begum4Asma Begum5Meher Begum5Ruqsana Begum5<br />A feel of Gps Teegal Kunta 2 school children.<br /> At first i know the facilities through Government in thier community about health.Then I interacted with Community Health Centre at TeegalKunta .I had shared about the programme to head of the health centre,she interacted with Children and asked some question from children.What is your name?,In which class are you studying?,in which school are you are you studying?And then shae asked Do you know deseases ,what we have to do.Children given most of answers.<br />Imagination and implementation<br /> The lady doctor her name is Vijay Lakshmi.She explained health centre facilities in their children we treatement deseases ,like Fever,T.B,Influenza,maternity and any accidential cases and cuases also.Children are knowing about facilities and shocked we didnt have about health centre facilities.they shocked.and felt happy.After that she checked heart beat and dental problems.children asked question to doctor about why teeth is give problem,Every day i had headache ,i didnot took any treatment.She said to children how could we clean our mouthand give some good suggestions.<br /> At the medicine counter the nurse explaining the medicine this will be provide by govt free of cost.Also she gave to all participants Power tablets sit.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
