Five students from Govt High School in Ameerpet, Hyderabad, India participated in a tree planting activity under the guidance of their mentor teacher. The students learned about the importance of trees for purifying air, providing resources and habitat, preventing soil erosion, and supplying nutrients to soil. They were educated on the uses of trees to develop their interest in gardening.
