The United States is located in North America, bordered by Canada and Mexico, with coastlines on the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. It has a diverse climate and population of over 310 million people, including descendants of European, African, Asian, and Native American inhabitants. Some of the country's most famous landmarks include the Statue of Liberty in New York and the White House and Capitol building in Washington D.C.

6. The first in inhabitants were the American Indians. They have got straigh and dark hair. His eyes and skin also are dark. The rest of habitants comes from the european, african and asian inmigrants: italians, irishes, chinese... For it, it is the country where major mixture of races exists.

7. The indians were living in tribes, in a few housing so called tippis. The european colonist got hold of his lands and killed many indians.

8. The first western inhabitants were cowboys. They were taking denim hat, spurns and pistol. They were taming to the horses in the rodes.

10. T HE TRADITIONAL FOODS: the american gastronomy is known as “food garbage”. It is the country were there are more obese persons.

11. The americans believe in the “American dream”. That consists of living in a mansion and of being succesful in a life. They like to place the flag of the United States in his house because they are very patriots.

12. The president is called Barack Obama. He is the first black president. It is a victory for the black persons because in the United States the slavery of the blacks leisted for centuries and there are many persons who do not want them.

13. Obama lives in the white house and governs in the Capital, in Washington.

15. In the United States there are very famous monuments as the statue of the Freedom in New York. My parents in the crown of the Statue of the Freedom.

16. THE TWIN TOWERS First, they built the Twin Towers. Already do not exist. Were destroyed them in an attempt in which more than 1.000 persons died on Septembre 11, 2001. They were islamist extremist arabs. My mother in the twin towers.

18. In the United States there are monuments and landscapes very famous.

19. In the year 2009 I was in Miami and Orlando, in Florida. Also I was in Dallas, in Texas. In Orlando I visited Disneyworld and it was wonderful. I am sure that some day I will return. LARA.
