2. My Mission
“Ang Aking Tungkulin”
To give myself the knowledge and skills to
become more independent and be
successful on my own terms. To have a good
work-life balance that ensures my
satisfaction in my personal and professional
life. To pursue lifelong learning as there's
always something new to learn and to apply
it in my life.
(Rough Tagalog translation)
3. My Vision
“Ang Aking Adhika”
Becoming Financially Successful
Creating my own “Family” To not be defined by my Family’s success in life
Improving the World through Discovery
and Research
I want to live comfortably and be able to afford
what life has to offer. To have enough money
and asset for my successors to inherit.
For me, a family can be created even without
blood relations. A stranger like an adopted
child can be considered family if there’s mutual
bond and trust.
The universe contains a lot of hidden
knowledge and humans reached only the
surface of it. New information improves our
lives and perception.
I’m perceived by people as a ”Rich kid” but it is
only because my parents managed to provide
me of a good life. My own achievements will
serve as one of the cornerstones of my life.
(Rough Tagalog translation)
5. 02 Creating my own
“Family”
“Currently I’m at risk for infertility, therefore
I’m thinking of child adoption as an
alternative choice.”
6. 03 Improving the
World through
Discovery and
Research
“There is no such thing as perfect in this world. That may sound cliché, but it’s the
truth. The average person admires perfection and seeks to obtain it. But, what’s the
point of achieving perfection? There is none. Nothing. Not a single thing. I loathe
perfection! If something is perfect, then there is nothing left. There is no room for
imagination. No place left for a person to gain additional knowledge or abilities”. –
Mayuri Kurotsuchi (Bleach - Tite Kubo)
What I believe…
7. Not Be defined
by my Family’s
success in life
04
“Use any kind of resource, take
advantage of it and make it your own.”
What I want to change…
8. “How I Learn”
I answered an online questionnaire about VARK in order to help me narrow down
my learning style and the result came out “Multimodal”. It means that I use all the four
learning styles simultaneously. The result described my usage of each style in numerical
percentage and Kinesthetic learning came out the highest. I was surprised at the result as
I thought I’m a visual learner because of my fondness of picture encyclopedias and
graphic novels.
In view of this activity, I believe no one can have an exact learning style preference.
The absorption of knowledge really comes down to what kind of information is given. A
person can be partial to some of the learning styles as long as comprehension is
achieved.
