3. INTRODUCTION
• Imran Khan was born on 5th October in 1952 in Lahore into a
family of Pashtun Origin
• He was the only son of Ikram-Ullah Khan Niazi and his wife
Shaukat Khanum
• They were settled in Mianwali in Northwestern Punjab
4. QUALIFICATION
• He was educated at the Cathedral School and Aitchison College in
Lahore, and then the Royal Grammar School Worcester in
England, where he excelled at cricket.
• In 1972, he enrolled in Keble College, Oxford where he studied
Philosophy, Politics and Economics, graduating with honours in
1975

• Imran Khan started his career as a cricketer from 1971 at the age of 18
• He made his Test debut at age 18 against England
• He developed in to one of the world’s leading All-Rounders
• During his career he led Pakistan to its first series win against England
and India

• He joined politics to serve his nation
• After successfully serving the nation by building Shaukat Khanum
Cancer Hospital and NAMAL University , He jumped into Politics
• His main focus was to eradicate Corruption from the country
13. MARCH TOWARDS ANOTHER GOAL
• In 1996 , Imran Khan participated in the elections but was not
selected as Member of National Assembly of Pakistan
• In 2002 , He was selected as a MNA from Mianwali
• He boycotted the 2008 elections
• In the year 2011 He started the Insaf Movement throughout the
country
• In 2013 , PTI emerged as the 2nd largest Political Party of PAKISTAN
