• Magazines published from schools and colleges have great
importance in education.
• These magazines are a great way to encourage creativity in students.
• The main advantage is that opinions about articles can be heard from
the audience as most of them will be inside the campus itself.
• The more intense and more in depth the language and content the
more interested will be the audience to know about the author of the
article.
• Most of the budding talents showcase their work through these
magazines.

3. • The articles published in the magazines also allows teachers motivate
young readers.
• Teachers can help students improve their language by giving proper
suggestions and encouragement.
• As there are different kind of literature being published on school
magazines students can choose categories babes on their interest for
publishing in them.
• Most school and college magazines are published annually and there
will be much time available for students to prepare the content for
the articles.

copy to be published in the magazine.
• More time can be spent for rewriting the content again and again for
making it more attractive to the audience.

• Proper use of leisure time : Students have some leisure time in their
life. They can read the magazine in the leisure time.
• Provide entertainment : Good magazines contain stories, jokes and
cartoons. These are source of entertainment for the children.
• Acquaint with heritage: Magazines provide knowledge about the
culture heritage. Stories of national heroes , description of historical
places in buildings etc. presents the picture of our heritage.
• Provides knowledge of outside world: Now learning cannot be
confined to classroom. Children may learn from good educational
magazines. They provide historical , political and cultural knowledge
of the world.

reading educational magazines.
• Supplement text book material: Good educational magazines provide rich
material concerning the curriculum. Teacher can supplement his teaching
with this material.
• Encourage creative writing: Teacher may encourage students to write for
the educational magazines on the current topics.
• Develop moral and spiritual values in students.
• Develop National and International understanding: Educational magazine
can develop national and international understanding among student.
