ABSTRACT:
Now a days IOT developed much more. One of the best example is smart baggage tracking. This research paper
delves into the world of luggage tracking, presenting a highly innovative system that utilizes the powerful technologies of
IOT, GSM, and GPS components. Through the system ,luggage can be accurately tracked in real –time, delivering highly
precise location-based information to the user.
GPS system is very commonly used in every field like vehicle tracking, Human tracking, Ship tracking. Commonly,
as people travel there is always a risk of theft of the luggage and bags which is where the proposed system comes into
account. The luggage tracking system works on the alarm is set up with Arduino uno board and GPS module. Also alarm
is turned on as soon as the particular bag is theft and goes outside a particular range.
In this the IoT components are being used like Arduino board and a GPS module in order to make track the bag
with help of mobile and resulted google location or maps.

WORKING PRINICIPAL:
As per the PCB design connect the connections exactly. Including the components we need 3.7v battery.
Now arrange the components. Connect the GPS module , GSM module and push buttons in zero PCB board with the help
of LM2596 set down converter and provide 3.7v DC supply to the PCB.
Now on the hardware system try to find out the signal in the GPS system with the help of Arduino ID software
library search for tiny GPS then install the first library by suitable code of our circuit .
Connect the pins as shown in the above circuit diagram. The specific thing is to add the mobile number in
+91xxxxxxxxxx as the below specific code if you add your mobile number then only you can get the exact position of the
missing bag the 13 and 14 pins are connected to the message and call facilities with the help of push button one push
button for message/text , the other one is for calling.After connect the 10ohm resistor to the message and calling pins.

By the connections the Arduino GSM will glow,by that signal the GPS will also find the signal of GPS . We can
conform the signals of GSM and GPS with the glowing LED’s. Now they are ready for using.
Firstly, you should place message push button pressing the a second and realising the message button after few
seconds the GSM will be sending the text message to the given mobile number.
By opening the text message we can observe 'TAP
TO PREVIEW" on mobile screen. By tapping
that google maps will automatically opens by
generating the particular latitude & longitude of that
lost bag location.

Now just place and release call push button after
few seconds we get a call ; GSM will be calling to
that mobile number as shown in beside figure .
Now if we try to receive this call & just try to say
anything in the mic you can listen the near by sounds
in the mobile call so, what ever the conversation
happens in the theft place we can listen in this mic of
hardware and in our mobile phone too…
By this we can find out the theft thing easily. If
wish to change the mobile number we can change in
the code.

CONCLUSION & FUTURE WORKS OF THE EXPERIMENT:
Observing the whole procedure we can conclude that by using the GSM and GPS tracking system. We can
identify our missing things like bags, mobile phones , electronic gadgets & vehicles tracking. The propose of luggage
tracking system ,which integrates with GSM& GPS components .as the potential to be a game changer in the luggage
tracking industry. It is budget friendly & by using GPS and GSM tracker it consumes low power. It also helps for
tracking our missing baggage location exactly with the help of message & call.
Experiment results further concludes that the bags can be easily tracked based upon the hardware installed in
them and then by tracking thar hardware and tracking the route ,directions and location of the bag with the help of
map.
According to the findings the system is both capable of accurately tracking the location of luggage in real time
and providing users with up-to date information regarding the location of their own luggage.
However ,there still plethora of unexplored areas for future work that can significantly enhance the performance and
functionality of the proposed system . One such area is the integration of additional sensors & components ,such as
temperature sensors & accelerometers ,to provide more granular information about luggage.
