This document discusses techniques for coupling and sharing context among collaborative teams and services. It presents an approach using RDF models to represent individual, team, and activity context at design time. At runtime, context is coupled across services by embedding URIs specifying context in SOAP message headers. This allows services to access distributed context from a central store using queries. The techniques aim to provide services with greater awareness of the overall collaboration context with minimal changes to existing services. Future work involves developing a reference architecture and applying the approach to specific collaborative projects.
