Simple analysis of tweets, retweets and favourites of tweets posted to the #IHMayDay hashtags for the annual Indigenous Health May Day event. For 2017 it is #IHMayDay17. It is the initiative of James Cook Indigenous Health Academic Dr Lynore Geia, with Summer May Finlay and Melissa Sweet, and is co-hosted by the social journalism for health project, Croakey.org. This year the event will be co-hosted by University of Canberra Professor Peter Radoll, Dean of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Leadership and Strategy, with UC colleagues Associate Professor Kerry McCallum from the Faculty of Arts and Design, and Dr Holly Northam from the Faculty of Health. Discussions on the day will be moderated by the founder of #IHMayDay, Dr Lynore Geia from James Cook University, and by Professor Radoll and Croakey Contributing Editor Summer May Finlay.
