Igor Larionov is a famous Russian hockey player from Voskresensky District who started his career with Voskresensky hockey club "Khimik" in 1977 at age 17. In the 1980s, Larionov was part of the renowned "Green Unit" with the Soviet national hockey team. He went on to win three Stanley Cups with the Detroit Red Wings in 1997, 1998, and 2002. Larionov was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2008 and is a member of the exclusive "Triple Gold Club" for winning the World Championship, Stanley Cup, and Olympic Games.
