1. The purpose of this presentation is to show research and
information about different attitudes towards LGBT.

2. Ignorance (or witlessness) is a state of
being uninformed (lack of knowledge).
This is a campaign where a the
leader from Westboro Baptist
Church gets her children to protest
against LGBT people using religion.
This portrays really well

Tolerance or toleration is the practice of permitting a thing of
which one disapproves, such as social, ethnic, sexual, or
religious practices.
Homosexuality, Tolerance and

There are many Christians who hold the
position that active homosexuality is
sinful, but that we must love homosexuals.
Increasingly though, taking this position no
longer seems sufficient. If one does not
affirm active homosexuality (at least under
certain conditions) one is labelled as an

• It is probably no surprise to you that a -major
conflict exists over equal rights and protections for
gays and lesbians, including whether to alter the
definition of marriage to include same-sex marriage
(SSM). In the U.S., these topics have surpassed in
importance even the conflict over abortion access.
Even within a single religion, like Christianity, we
see an active and apparently irresolvable debate
over how persons with a homosexual or bisexual
orientation should be treated.

12.  The dif ferent attitudes towards LGBT in today’s society is very
complex. ACCEPTANCE can actually be TOLERANCE, as some
people does tolerate LGBT but doesn’t fully accept it.
Therefore there are many charities and movements that
promotes the acceptance of LGBT in various ways.
 The most ignorant “group” towards LGBT would be Religion, as
the majority of religious leaders tries to ban the equality
between LGBT people. IGNORANCE can be perceived as
homophobia and against the law within dif ferent countries
laws and regulations.
 However, it would be very interesting to explore in our
documentary the dif ferent attitudes towards LGBT in today’s
society.
