2.  North Lakhimpur civil hospital was established in 1987 having 200
registered bed.
 At present situation, there are 283 beds in NLCH.
 The hospital is situated at “Saboti” which is 3-4 km apart from North
Lakhimpur town.
 Area of work
◦ Diagnostics: Microbiology, Pathology, Radiology etc.
◦ Public health: OPD , IPD and Blood Bank with specialist doctors.
◦ Teaching: Practical classes for Nursing student in each ward.
◦ Research: Pharmacy/B.Sc microbiology students from different
institutions have completed their internship course from time to time.

3.  Details regarding
◦ Various sub-labs: There are 22 numbers of L1 Lab in Lakhimpur.
◦ Work distribution at L1 labs: Malaria microscopy, Widal tests and ZN
stain facilities. For other test L1 labs collected and send their samples to
Microbiology Lab (L2).

Working hours of the lab
 Working hours 8 AM to 2 PM.

4. Work management
On govt. holidays duty hours 8 AM to 12.30 PM and Sunday
manage by phone call with ward I/Cs.
During overload or during outbreak situations, working hours is
till completion of works.
EQAS
10 % EQAS (DPHL) to RMRC (ICMR) for JE and Dengue.
All JE and Dengue negative samples to RMRC for Etiology.
