Participants

Step 1: Create Copy User (I)
In our experience, many similar users are
required when teaching SAP. The process of
creating multiple users consists of two steps:
 Create Copy User (transaction SU01)
 Multiply Copy User (transaction ZUSR)
 SAP AG
STEP 1 – Create Copy User: After calling transaction
SU01, fill an alphanumeric number in the field User,
e.g. UCC-COPY. Click on to create a new user.

Step 1: Create Copy User (II)

On tab Address, fill the mandatory field Last name
with any name.

Step 1: Create Copy User (III)
 SAP AG
On the Logon data tab, specify the initial
password.

Step 1: Create Copy User (IV)
 SAP AG
On tab Defaults, choose OutputDevice LOCL and
select Output Immediately. All printouts from the
SAP system will be directed to the standard printer
of your operating system.
Additionally you could specify the logon language,
decimal notation, or date format.

On the Profiles tab, choose one of the following user profiles:
IDES_USER: change  master and transaction data
display  configuration/development/user
IDES_ALL: change  master and transaction data/
configuration

SAP_ALL: change  master and transaction data
configuration/development/user

Step 1: Create Copy User (VI)

After clicking , the account for the copy user is saved.

Step 2: Mass User Maintenance (I)
Step 2 – Mass User Maintenance: After calling transaction
ZUSR, fill the copy user, specify the course name, the
number of accounts, and a common initial password.
Click on to start the generation process.

The SAP system prompts you with the following windows.

First, the system displays already existing
user accounts starting with the course
name your specified on the initial screen.
Click on to proceed.
Second, the system requests your
decision whether or not you want to
develop. In most cases click NO.
Third, the system displays the user
interval. It create one user (for the
instructor) more than you specified.
Also, it adds an hyphen. In order to
create the users, click on .

Step 2: Mass User Maintenance (III)
The results of creating mass users
are displayed so that they can be
checked.

You must change or confirm the
password at this point again. To do so
click on and .

Step 2: Mass User Maintenance (IV)
The system informs you of the password
change and displays all user accounts
again.
